"Ha..." With a quiet exhale, I collapsed onto the bed.

By the time I got to the dormitory, it was already one o'clock in the afternoon. After the first floor receptionist gave me a card key to room 101 and a booklet with the necessary information, I headed for the elevator. The booklet included the times and days of rubbish collection and a warning not to make noise. It also asked to save water and electricity as much as possible.

"Thanks for the help, Ayanokouji!"

I remembered the words Sudo had said before he left. They gave me a strange, ambiguous feeling. It was a simple thing that anyone would say out of a sense of conscience, but for me, it seemed to mean something more than just gratitude.

I've decided not to dwell on it just yet.

The room given for my use is about eight tatami big. From this moment on, I should call this place my home.

I smiled a little.

A series of unexpected events had led me to the point where I was now lying on a white soft bed.

Lying with excitement that my final exam had already begun.
