The car ride was fun. Lia was really talkative in a good way. I don't understand why people comment mean shit about her. We spent the car ride talking about the most random stuff. I could se the excitement in her eyes but there was also a lot of sadness and unspoken words. She is a fun person to be around tho.
Liana's POV:
Lando was so nice, I like him. I got a few pics of him driving but those ones we're mine, I wasn't planning on posting them. I had posted a Bahrain dump earlier and all the drivers were being a little too nice , I think they might suspect something but I think I'm safe for now, "Lando did you see the new wags_f1 post?" We were walking into the hotel room and I was just checking my Instagram. I tried ignoring the comments left on my posts and on this specific post but they kept on ringing through my mind and it was really taunting. "no I didn't show me" I showed him the post and he looked a bit shocked. "Apparently we're dating now" I said trying not to laugh. "that's a nice photo tho" he said trying to look serious "Yeah and oh btw send me that photo you took, I like it" "Okay no problem" he took a deep breath as if trying to find the right words "Lia I have a question" "Ask away" we were walking towards my room, I wasn't planning to go to the after-party I was just gonna stay in the hotel room and watch a movie until I fell asleep. "Are you okay after seeing those comments? People can be really mean. I hope the comments aren't bothering you, you're an amazing person both inside and out." My heart skipped a beat that was so nice. "I'm used to the comments. Being Lewis' sister has its perks but it also comes with a lot of hater because I'm a public figure but I'm also black so people target me a lot." We arrived at my hotel room and I was about to entre when Lando stopped me and hugged me, I was a bit shocked but I could feel the tears stinging threatening to fall.
Lando's POV:
"It's okay Lia, you can let it all out" She started crying and it broke my heart, she didn't deserve this hate. I wish I could do something but I couldn't. I led her into her room and went to go get her some tissue. I returned to find her on the bed looking blankly at the wall. "Lia are you feeling better?" she flinched a bit then nodded her head "Yeah, sorry for ruining your day" "Lia you didn't ruin anything" There was a small silence "I was gonna go to the party but I have a better idea" "What do you mean?" "We are gonna watch a movie and eat snacks" her eyes lit up for a moment "no you should go to the party" "nope I'd rather cheer you up" "okay fine, I'll order room service" "What movie do you wanna watch Lia?" "can we watch Rapunzel?" "Sure I'm no one to judge"
