Liana's POV:

"You're a Formula One winner, Lando," I said with the biggest smile on my face. I was playing with his brown curls. We were cuddled up on the bed in our hotel room. We had decided it would be better if we took a bit of us time before heading to the club to celebrate with the other drivers and quadrant members.

"I'm a Formula One Grand Prix winner. I like the sound of that," he mumbled into my chest before shifting slightly to look at me. "I am the luckiest guy in the entire universe."

~

Liana blushed at the words that came from the young Brit's mouth. "Well then, I'm the luckiest girl in the world then." She responded. He moved, making himself more comfortable.

Liana played with his soft curls for a bit before she felt scattered kisses on her neck. He made his way from her neck to her lips. He switched their positions to make her be on top of him. She kissed him back, her hands traveling to his hair.

They continued their heated encounter, but the environment shifted when he caressed her waist.

Liana's mind drifted to the countless times Ethan had done the exact same thing while he told her how perfect she looked when she didn't eat. She remembered the number of times he did that before he used her, and before she could process what was happening, she was shaking and crying.

Lando stopped and looked at her with a concerned and scared expression. "Lia? What's wrong? Did I upset you?" he questioned with worry. She got off him and quickly rushed out of the room, still crying, leaving him there, questioning if he had done something wrong.

Part of him wanted to get up and follow her to check if she was okay, but he knew she needed her space.

She came out of the bathroom around 10 minutes later, acting as if nothing had happened. "Lia, is everything alright? What happened?" she ignored the question and changed the topic, signaling that she did not want to talk about it. "We should get going. The others are probably wondering where we are." She said quietly, her voice still shaking.

The car ride was silent. Uncomfortably silent. Liana sat silently watching the road, her mind still thinking about Ethan and the things he did. Lando tried making small talk but it really didn't work, she wasn't really paying attention.

They arrived at the club and Liana immediately left the car to avoid having to talk to Lando about what happened in their hotel room. Lando stayed in the car for a few more minutes trying to gather his thoughts and figure out how to go about this entire situation.

Liana on the other hand was already in the club with a pina colada in her hand. She just wanted to drown her feelings in alcohol. She suddenly felt a hand on her shoulder making her jump slightly.

She turned and saw Nina standing there with Brianna next to her who had a glass of whiskey in her hand, already a bit tipsy. "Hey Lia!" She yelled over the loud music, blasting into their ears. Liana nodded with a fake smile, she didn't really want to worry her friends but Nina knew something was wrong.

Lando entered the club and was greeted by Max and Daniel. They chatted a bit before they went to the bar to get a few drinks. Liana was already drunk, she was on her 4th shot of tequila after drinking a pina colada.

She stumbled towards him and greeted Daniel and Max before clinging onto Lando like a koala. Lando played with her newly undone hair while she continued drinking and talking to the others.

Nina was worried about the amount of alcohol Liana was consuming so she pulled her aside to talk. They left the club to talk and get some fresh air. "Lia? Are you alright? You rarely get this drunk. Like ever."
