Hiah was scrolling intently through her phone as she trailed behind Yeonjun and I. Constantly, I'd have to turn around and tell her to hurry up before she accidentally lost us and walked into the street on accident.
Yeonjun had led her and I down the street from our house to his, which we had just passed by, and we were now dead set on the house down the road that had people squeezing inside of it.
"You ready?" Yeonjun elbowed me. Knowing he apologized to me, that he was now going to be more lenient with me, made me happier. But I wondered what the other guys were going to say.
All I did was shrug my shoulders, "Do I have a choice?"
"Nope." He shoved me forward as we got closer and closer to the front door. A few people were standing outside of the house with cups of who knows what, but I almost ran into one of the guys as I stumbled forward.
Hiah let out an angry huff as she kept staring down at her phone, impatiently waiting for something to happen I guessed. But once I stabilized myself once more, I skipped right over the smacking Yeonjun stage and went right to my sister, grabbing her phone from her.
"That's enough. We're out to party and I don't know what you're doing on this phone but it seriously can't be more important than your younger brother's first party. You can't let me get drunk, Hiah, get it together." I rolled my eyes as I shoved her phone into her pocket for her, causing her to laugh a little as she nodded.
"I guess you're right. I'll worry about the drama later."
"There should be no drama at all." I shoved her through the front door and followed her behind, Yeonjun close behind the two of us. Maybe that was something I'd regret.
The whole house was booming with overly loud music, people drinking and kissing and laughing. I guess I wasn't expecting anything more, it was a party thrown by a high schooler.
I saw a lot of people I knew, but also a lot of people I had never seen before in my life. They were, of course, the older ones in the party. I hadn't even really known it, but Yeonjun had been ushering Hiah and I along until we ran into the guys who were all huddled together in the kitchen, rummaging through the fridge.
"What are you doing?" Yeonjun and I couldn't help but giggle at their actions. They were being completely irrational as they passed around food just to put it back in the fridge because it wasn't good enough for them.
Kai turned and whined, "We're hungry and they don't have fruit."
"Fruit?" I felt myself feel even lighter. Maybe there was something in the air at that place but everything negative I felt when I was inside that house was just ten times less. Ten times more when it was positive.
"Yes, fruit." Soobin put his hands on his hips as he leaned back, the other two guys shoving their faces further into the fridge as they searched for something to snack on.
Yeonjun and I giggled a little at the childish behavior. Then Hiah tapped on Taehyun's shoulder. He turned around and smiled when he saw her. Yeonjun and I just stared, and I think Soobin and Kai kind of pulled their attention away from the fridge to see my sister and Taehyun get whisked away into the party by each other.
"What was that?" I spoke quietly as I still tried to see them through the crowd of people. The guys shut the fridge door and just stood there with me.
Kai tilted his head as he elbowed me, "I think Taehyun likes your sister."
"And I think she likes him too." I groaned. Taehyun was a great guy and I knew he would treat my sister well, but the age difference, though it wasn't a lot, was a factor that might've made me feel a little uncomfortable. Plus the fact that Taehyun was my best friend and she was my sister. That was always a little weird right? That's like a rule between friends, you can't date my sibling.
