I don't know what to say about this book-- holy shiznit I was amazed. I love Jaron so very much, he's one of the best characters I've come in contact with in so long. His type of humor is right up my alley, I love everything that Nielson is doing with him.
The ending with Amarinda made me so fricken happy! My heart genuinely went out to them, and if their love story continues, I will scream. Happily, of course.
This leads to my following point --
I read the back of the next book. Imogen returns.
IF HE HAS A LOVE STORY WITH IMOGEN.
I WILL HURT SOMEONE.
*coughs* I'm not sure what that was.
Jaron is genuinely such an honorable character, forgiving Roden the way he did was amazing.
All of these characters were beautifully crafted. I have a soft spot for Mott, just as I do for Tobias, and Fink is such an adorable little annoying fucker. So sad that he didn't get to keep his rat.
I literally can't wait to see where the rest of this series takes me. If I tore through this book in two days, there's no knowing what I'll do with the three books left.
And then I get to work on hunting down the rest of Nielson's books...
