"Girl just choose anything from your wardrobe. You legit look wholesome in every fit" Irene said trying to convince Jennie to not go to shopping and instead wear something from her closet. "Moreover its not something important either. You just gonna have a dinner with your dad and Taehyung's family including him" Nayeon said. "That's my point. I dont wanna look over" Jennie replied to them laying on the bed. Both nayeon and irene looked at each other and went inside Jennie's closet.

They came back with a outfit. "You Gotta try this" Irene said making Jennie jump out from her bed. "Life savers" Jennie mumbled as she took the outfit and went inside washroom.

"Looks more then awesome" Nayeon said laying down on the bed. "Kevin's engagement is tomorrow." Irene said making Jennie look at Irene. "You have to make Taehyung agree so that he can accompany you" Irene said as jennie nodded. "Jen whatever it is, Don't use Taehyung to make Kevin jealous. Wearing a beautiful dress will be enough to make him regret his choice to cheat on you. You dont need a men by your side for that. " Nayeon explained just like she always do. Never agreeing with whatever Irene and Jennie plans.
"Okay mother" Jennie chuckled on Nayeon's word.

Just when Jennie was about to doubt her look, Taehyung texted her. Saying he is in parking lot waiting for her. "Bye girlies" Jennie said biding the girls. "Wait its just 8pm. Nobody eats dinner at 8pm i can bet on that. Wait atleast 9pm" Irene said. Nayeon agreed with the elder's words. "I already called uber and its downstairs waiting" Jennie said trying to not make it suspicious. She knows how much these girls gonna tease her if they find out that Taehyung gonna pick her. "Uber?what's with your car? You can drive by yourself" Nayeon asked Jennie. "My car's steering is having some problems. Dont ask me question bye" Jennie quickly left the apartment.

Jennie quickly got inside Taehyung's car and sat on passenger seat. "Hey" Taehyung greeted her with a smile. "Hi. Can you just drive as soon as possible? " Jennie asked, not wanting irene or nayeon to see her. Taehyung nodded and started driving. Taehyung was wearing black blazer on top of white shirt and black trouser.

Both Jennie and Taehyung entered the mansion together. As soon as they entered, they noticed together with a unknown women. "Here they come" Taehyung's dad said noticing them. "Most importantly together." Taehyung's mom chuckled saying this. "Told ya the lunch date idea will never fail bud" Jennie's dad said to Taehyung's dad.

Both Jennie and Taehyung took a seat. Jennie was sitting opposite of Taehyung. Jennie opened her jacket as it was hot here.
"This is Alessandra Capriati. A famous and expensive wedding planer. She came all the way here from Italy just to plan your and Jennie's wedding son" Taehyung's dad introduced Jennifer to both Jennie and Taehyung.
"Call me sandra. Nice to meet you guys" Alessandra said with a smile.

"So we will start with the engagement and for that we need you guys to know the engagement dance" Sandra said. "Actually how about if we keep it short?and simple. Like just ring exchange and inviting just friends and all" Jennie said after she remembered her conversation with Taehyung earlier the day. Sandra nodded.

"For the wedding, we will first go to the Temple. Get done with the bows an" Sandra was cutted off by Taehyung this time. "We will just do the bows at the main ceremony. No need to visit the Temple" taehyung said. "Are you guys even happy with the wedding?" Sandra mumbled underneath .

"Let me get straight to the point, You guys will be doing a small engagement party where media will be present. Lets fix a date. Also i need you guys to meet me in my office so that we can choose the rings and the outfits and most importantly the theme and food" Sandra explained everything. "You know what?Let our parents choose everything. I dont really care. And i would appreciate if the engagement party only includes close friends and family." Jennie said standing up. "Where are you going?we arent finished yet" Jennie's dad said standing up.

"I'm seriously tired Dad. It's my wedding but...the groom is not even someone i like. There is litreally no use of me or even Taehyung to get involved in all these. We aren’t even happy" Jennie said almost tearing up. "After mom passed, It always have been like this. All my special days are about you and your business and now my wedding is too" Jennie said. Tears were rolling down her cheeks. Jennie left with that being said.

Jennie was about to leave the place all alone but someone grabbed her wrist. She looked behind just to see Taehyung there. "Want some ice cream?" Taehyung asked Jennie. She quickly wiped off her tears. "I would love too" She smiled agreeing.

Jennie was laying down on her bed scrolling on her phone that's when she decided to call Taehyung.
She quickly went to contacts and called Taehyung. He picked it after few rings.

"Hoping didnt disturbed you" Jennie said.

"Definitely no. I was just thinking about you" taehyung replied.

"Why?" Jennie asked out of her curiosity.

"Nothing much. You know the more i get to know you the less you become bossy" Taehyung said with a slight chuckle.

"Well i guess i gotta say you arent cold at all" Jennie said.

She heard Taehyung laughing over the call. "Yeah the reason i called you, will you mind attending a engagement ceremony with me?" Jennie asked slightly nervous.

"Yeah sure. But please tell me its at night. I have alot of work at day time" taehyung answered.

"Dont worry its at night. It Kevin... My ex's engagement" Jennie informed Taehyung and he just said yes.

They later hang up the call as someone started calling Taehyung. Jennie putted her phone at the bed side table and her eyes fall on a small picture of her and kevin when they were together. Without her knowledge, her eyes started to tear up. "You must be at ease after cheating on me right? I loved you Kevin and this is what i got. I fucking hate you now" Jennie mumbled to herself.

Her eyes then fall on Taehyung's blazer. Well it was real cold outside so Taehyung offered Jennie his blazer while eating ice cream. Jennie smiled looking at the blazer. "He is gentle Isn't he?" Jennie said wiping her tears as she looked at the blazer.
