Just as I'm putting the final touches to my makeup, I hear three concise knocks on the door. Perfect timing. I went with something comfy and casual since I'm trying to convince myself that I'm not actually trying to impress Harry. Although I don't think I'm fooling anyone, especially myself.

"Coming!" I yell down the hall, quickly grabbing my purse and shoes as I race to open the door before Carlisle or Ellison can fully embarrass me or interrogate Harry. We all crash into each other in a spectacle of limbs and bang against the door. Luckily I get there first and successfully pinch Ellison's nipple as I hip bump Carlisle out of the way with some force. This gives me a few seconds to successfully open the door enough to slide out and slam it shut behind me, yelling an 'I'll be home later, love you!'. I can hear their muffled complaints coming from inside and I quickly go to putting my shoes on since I didn't have enough time to do that before I fought my way out of the apartment.

"Everything alright love?" Harry is leaning against the wall outside of my door and gives me a startled look as he takes in my heavy breathing and slightly disheveled hair. "Under normal circumstances you would have invited me in for a moment."

"Well if you haven't noticed by now I'm not exactly normal. You should be thanking me because I just saved you from a total interrogation from my overprotective friends. Now shall we go?" I say gesturing with my hand for him to take the lead.

"Okaaaay then." He says, pushing the elevator button for the ground floor, "I hope your not disappointed but we're not actually going to a restaurant. I want to ensure that you have a grand evening out with me, so much so that you'll consider a round two, and the paparazzi won't help with my case. They can sometimes be a little.........much."

"Well thank you for your consideration. As long as where we're going has food, I don't much care because as of now I am starving. In fact I think my stomach is eating itself for nutrition right now." I say, cringing at my word choice. I'm trying to hide the huge grin threatening to take over my face at his thoughtfulness and the mention of a second date. "Also you may not want a round two with me. You might find me extremely boring compared to what your used to."

"Well first, there is food and I must say I am a pretty delectable chef so be prepared for the best food your mouth has ever feasted upon." He smirks, holding open the door for me as we step outside of the apartment. Of course he's the perfect gentleman, I think to myself trying to remember the last time a man stopped to hold open a door for me.

"And second, as I've said before there's something about you that I can't get enough of so I'll take as much of your time and attention as you'll give me." He says, while opening the door of his black range rover so that I can climb into the passenger seat. He shuts the door before I can respond and I feel a blush creep up my neck at his sort of compliment.

"So where are we headed?" I ask as he climbs in and starts the vehicle, totally ignoring his earlier comment.

"Nowhere until you put on your seatbelt. Safety first." He smirks, exaggerating his own buckling process.

I buckle myself in but not before giving him an eye roll to which he chuckles. He pulls away from the curb and messes with the radio.

"Now Harold, don't you know to always keep your eyes on the road? Safety first." I mock, swatting his hand away from the radio. "Allow me."

"Touchè." He says, glancing at me from the corner of his eye.

After I accustom myself to his fancy touch screen radio thing, I touch the Pandora icon and settle on some Ben Harper. I look over at Harry for approval and catch him giving my choice a nod of appreciation so I sit back in my seat. We ride the rest of the way in a comfortable silence, both enjoying the music.
