CHRIS SITS IN HIS HOTEL ROOM in new york, dressed in a sharp suit and tie. nervous energy is running through him as he reads over the speech he has written in case he wins the heisman trophy later in the evening. the words on the paper blur as his mind races.
before, he didn't really have time to really think about what winning the heisman would mean. now that he's here though, he's just so grateful. he's excited to go to the ceremony whether he wins or not.
