With sleepy eyes, Alistair has a pile of papers to read. He hasn't had enough to eat or sleep for the entire day! Just two days ago, he was having fun with Xantheus, and now he's stuck with papers again. He yawns as he reads and signs the papers.

He yearns for a break, a long rest, and sleep, but he can't afford to rest until he finishes his work. Xantheus, who is constantly worried about Alistair, sits in another chair, assisting Alistair with the papers.

These documents pertain to the perfumes he's been working on and include background information about potential employees for his company.

With so much work, Alistair is torn between prioritizing his well-being or his work. He's been awake for two days! He didn't even sleep last night, which shows his dedication. However, he should also take care of his health.

Every time Alistair yawns, he drinks his coffee, but it seems like the coffee isn't helping him stay awake. His eyes are almost closing due to his extreme sleepiness. In an attempt to stay awake, Alistair starts shaking his head and slapping his face.

Xantheus, watching him with a confused expression, thinks Alistair is acting crazy because he's slapping himself. Without a second thought, Xantheus hits Alistair on the back of his head, causing him to shout, "Hey, what the hell is wrong with you?! Why did you hit me?!"

Xantheus chuckles and pinches Alistair's cheek, asking, "Did that make you feel awake?"

Alistair nods slightly and continues his work. His sleepiness seems to have disappeared after that hit.

Stressed for two whole days? What a fantastic time Alistair is having. He can't even rest for an hour due to his demanding work. However, he has no one to blame but himself.

He chose to inherit the company, so the responsibility is all his. But who could blame him? He couldn't say no to his grandparents. At least he's wealthy, independent, and doesn't always rely on others.

While they were quietly engrossed in their work, Xantheus suddenly spoke up. "By the way, Alistair, your sister was here yesterday while you were busy."

Alistair's eyes widened as he turned his head to face Xantheus. "And you're only telling me this now?" Annoyance was evident in his voice.

Xantheus raised his left eyebrow and slowly put down his pen.

"You're already stressed with your work. Do you think I would let her in and just add to your problems? Hell no." Xantheus sounded a bit angry.

Alistair frowned and ran his fingers through his hair. He took a deep breath before speaking.

"But you could've at least told me that she was here. If you didn't want me to see her, you should've informed me that she was here." Alistair managed to calm himself a bit.

Is this how they usually communicate with each other? Alistair is stressed, so it's understandable that he could get easily annoyed.

"What did she do?" Alistair asked, his eyes still focused on his work.

"Well, she might have caused some trouble," Xantheus replied.

"Like what?" Alistair inquired.

"She almost hit your secretary, that's all," Xantheus explained.
