"Are you shy? Was I too honest?"

Lisa was a little surprised.

He didn't seem ashamed to talk about the chemistry between a man and a woman.

Jungkook even dared to admit his body was excited.

However, when she saw the tall and muscular handsome man blushing and unable to make eye contact, Lisa smiled a little.

"Then I'll be back, Your Grace."

Back in her room, she changed her clothes first.

Since then, she had packed some clothes, large and small items, and other necessary things in her suitcase.

Lisa had lived here for more than twenty years and all her luggage was quickly filled in.

But, somehow she felt empty.

"I can't believe you're leaving for good, My Lady. I can finally feel it."

Lisa held Lucy's shoulder drooping in disappointment.

"I want you to go with me but at the same time, I don't want you to be there."

"I want to be with you, My Lady."

"The wildlings live near the borders of Karlsvik. It's a dangerous place so I can't take you with me."

Natasha had shamed Lucy many times for taking care of Lisa like her own family.

Her stepmother might bully Lucy after Lisa left for the North.

She will feel even lonelier once Natasha started playing childish tricks on her.

Lisa didn't want to separate from her maid, as well.

She cared about Lucy more than anyone else in this mansion but she couldn't dare ask for her company out of greed.

Could Lucy--born and raised in the warm countryside of the Central Region--survive well in the North?

What if she found the conditions devastating to live in?

Rumors said that it wasn't only wild-lings but strange creatures were also spotted living beyond the borders.

You shouldn't have hoped for Lucy's company, leaving for a dangerous place where you can't guarantee your life.

In addition to that, the Marquis would never allow his household maid to go with a daughter he didn't love.

"I had to leave this place because I had no choice."

This space might have filled her with happiness once upon a time but it's time for her to leave.

Her beloved mother was the only reason why she wanted to stay here but she was already dead.

She had to accept it was the turning point and start moving on with her life.

"Nothing bad will happen to you so don't worry, My Lady. I think the Grand Duke's companions, Lecter and Cole, are better than they look."

Jungkook, who had dyed his earlobes red, and his entourage, who felt like the younger brothers she never had, suddenly crossed her mind.

Hopefully, her future with them wouldn't be that disastrous.

"Let's write to each other more often, Lucy. Please take care and let me know if anything happens."

"Yes, My Lady."

Lucy picked her luggage up.

The two crossed the familiar corridor and descended to the first floor.

Jungkook had waited silently at the bottom of the staircase as Lisa had requested him to do.
