Chapter 1

As I enter the house I can hear people disagreeing. So like any other normal person I go and check it out. I follow the noise until I get to my fathers home office. As I'm about to enter I hear my father say,"You can take anything besides her. I beg of you."

"I have already chosen what I want and if you can't follow through with that then I'm going to have to do something that you will regret. So I suggest that you give me what I want or face the consequences." A deep intimidating voice says.

What does he want and why does my father have to give it to him. I ask myself.

"I could give you anything that you want besides her. Give me a price and I'll give you that amount. Just please don't take her. I beg of you. I'll do anything you want me to do but please don't take her." My father says in a voice that makes me think that he's on the verge of a breakdown. I have never heard my father sound so hopeless before. It's something you never want to hear.

Who does this man want. And what did my father get himself into that he has to give this man a person. What kind of person wants another person.

"You are in no position to negotiate with me. If you would have paid me on time we wouldn't be going through all of this. I expect her to be ready to leave by tomorrow afternoon. If she's not there will be consequences to be paid to both you and her. Do you understand me." The misteriuos voice says in a serious manner. Just listening to his voice had me scared shitless. What did my father not pay on time. And what are the consequences for this. And who is he taking.

I'm so confused. I just want to barge into his office and get to the bottom of this but Im afraid that if I do I'll regret doing that.

So instead I just stand here listening in on their conversation. Like a coward I already know I am.

When I hear the doorknob turn I jump back a little. I see this gorgeous man with dark almost black hair walk out of the office followed by my father that has a look on his face like there's no hope left.

I assume the gorgeous man that walk out first was the one who was threatening my father.

When the gorgeous mysterious man walks by me we look each other in the eye. It seems like he can see right through me. It sounds all cheesy but it felt like he could see my soul. Have you ever gotten a feeling like that. If at that's how I felt right then.

I look away from him because the intensity of his stare is to much for me to handle.

"I'll see you tomorrow sunshine. Be ready or there will be consequences to pay."

All I can do is stare at his retreating back. I'm speechless and frighten.

So I'm the girl that he wants. What would he want me for. I'm nothing special. I'm not even that pretty. At a height of 5'11 not a lot of guys would take interest in you. So what would he want with me. And what did he mean by that. 'Be ready when I get here or you'll regret not being ready.'

I'm even more confused now than I was before. So I turn to the person who hopefully holds all the answers to my questions.

"What's going on father," I ask my father in a confused tone.

Well its a little short. I'm sorta new at this whole writing thing. The book is probably going to be cliche and cheesy in some part. What do you expect I'm a teenage girl that loves the epic love story. So if you don't like it then I suggest you don't read it not trying to be rude.
