3 October, 2000

It was a normal day and the former soviet republics had gotten their independence in 1991 from the USSR

India POV

I was getting ready to meet the Russian president in hopes they'd make a strategic move towards friendship with each other's nations. I was pretty nervous too because of trust issues of course, ever since USSR tortured me...I started having trust issues

'I'm pretty nervous about it what if he doesn't accept it' I was having those issues again thinking about it over and over again

'But I have to stand up for myself once and for all I can't risk...that... again'

(Timeskip cuz idk what to put here 😭)

I have finally reached the country, Russia...now all I had to do is be confident

"Well here goes nothing" I go inside and walk down the hall until I reach his office

Knock, knock, knock  I knock on the door

Russia POV

I was working in my office until I hear a knock. "Ugh I wish America never existed in this world". I open the door and sees India waiting outside my office

"I suppose you must be...India? Correct?"

"Huh what- oh y-yeah that would be me" she said nervously not sure if she should actually ask him

"Well what are you doing outside? Come inside" I let her come inside and tells her to have a seat

Third person POV

"So what do you want if it's anything about America I'll-" he clenched his fists as he was ready to punch

"What! No not about that I just...wanted to ask a request" she said

He loosens his grip but still tight "Fine...I'll hear it out"

"Look I just wanted a strategic partnership with you...I understand your situation that you are having sanctions from the United States but I can help" she continued

"Like I have agriculture as a main occupation in my country and you make weapons and fertilisers...so how about we trade you give me half of your weapons and fertilisers so that I can give you some of my crops for each other's benefits"

He paused for a moment, it was obvious he was having trouble with growing crops because of the cold...

"Fine I'll accept it but you better not break the promise"

"I won't"

He smiled for a while, which was unusual for someone like him "Good...then sign this contract". He holds out a paper which said 'Russia-India strategic partnership'

India looked at it with surprise not expecting it to work out smoothly "Oh umm okay"

She grabbed a pen and signed the contract, and so did Russia

(Timeskip again cuz I really don't know)

India POV

I finally came back at my house and sighed in relief

"It worked...well damn"

And blah...blah...blah they became best of friends happily ever after
