(Thanks m33rs_meru for the great help, this is my beta)
Sea. So big and vast. Its waves are quietly lapping in the haze of a bright sunset, monotonously moving in one direction. Silence. Emptiness. A light breeze barely stirred the leaves of the spreading palm trees that grew from the white, clean sand. A lone dark figure stood out from the general background. One animatronic was sitting on the sand very close to the invisible boundary separating the beach and the beginning of the sea.
What is he doing here? What is he thinking about? Why is he alone?..
The sand rustled softly under the footsteps of another animatronic.
Here he is.
Earlier...
Solar was sitting at his computer, staring at the white screen of the monitor. How long has it been? An hour? Two hours ? Or maybe it's already day? He had no idea. Ever since he and Moon made a copy of Ruin's memories, they both barely got up from the computer to take a break. Now that they had the information in their hands, it was necessary to analyze it. Of course, Moon's computer could have done this, but the programmer said he wanted to view everything personally, so as not to miss a single detail. Despite the fact that Eclipse "lived" on the back corridor in the Fazcade, he still didn't miss the opportunity to approach Solar and taunt him with his foul mouth. It's a pity that verbal humiliation is not included in the list of "forbidden" actions in relation to the "celestial family", otherwise Solar would've blown the bastard up long ago. Solar didn't like the idea of them working with Eclipse at all, but they had no choice. It's good that they live on opposite sides of the pizzaplex. Otherwise this place would be expose to rampaging fire caused by them."Two tickets, please." he was distracted by the voice of a child modestly handing a pair of green bills across the countertop. The theater attendant looked at the two children who had been watching him all this time. Closing the computer program, Solar bent under the table, tearing off a couple of tickets. After taking the money, he handed over the tickets.
"Anything else?" - he asked.
"No, thanks!" The children smiled, picking up the tickets and running off towards the cinema hall with cheerful laughs. Solar looked at the time. Exactly on clock. A movie session. Sighing wearily, the mechanic straightened his back, feeling his metal body clank dejectedly. It seems like he could use some machine oil to lubricate his metal joints. He'll think about it when he has a break. If there is one at all.
Leaving the counter, Solar headed towards the cinema to turn on a movie for the awaiting children. He had almost reached the projector when he suddenly felt a tug on his pant's leg. Turning around, he lowered his head down, looking at the girl who was hugging a Sun plush on her other hand.
"What's wrong kid ? Are you lost?" He ask calmly.
"No, it's not... It's just that I was sitting quietly in a corner and noticed that you looked very tired. Mister Solar, are you all right?"
Solar chuckled softly, kneeling down to the little girl's eye level and smiled wearily.
"I'm fine, don't worry. This is my job, and I have to do it. Now go to the cinema hall, the cartoon will start soon."
The girl smiled back, nodding. Rushing off to her seated place when "cartoon" was mentioned. Getting to his feet, Solar walked over to the projector, turning off the lights and turning on the film. Making sure that everything was working properly, the animatronic returned to the computer. As soon as he open the tab on it, Moon storms into the room. Having a "I'm tired of this shit" expression on him.
