Your 1st mission for lord death

normal P.O.V
You and Brandon were in professor Sid's class taking notes when the speaker went off
"(y/n) (l/n) and death the kid and their weapons, please report to the death room"
you and Brandon looked at each Other, Sid gave you guys permission to leave. You and Brandon were walking in the hallway when you saw kid and the twins a little bit ahead of you, you caught up to him
"hey kid"
he looked down at you
"hey"
he said rather quietly "soo, you got called to the death room too?" He nods slowly
"cool me too wonder what for huh"
you looked back at brandon and Liz, they were blushing "huh, weird maybe they like each other"
you smiled at them.
You guys reached the death room and Kid knocked on the door, spirit opened it
"you're here, good"
he says turning around making a following motion. They follow him till they see lord death
"hey dad"
lord death turned around
"hiya kiddo! Hiya (y/n)! glad you came!".
Kids P.O.V
"You wanted us?"
I asked my dad in a rather blank tone
"yes! I have a mission for you and (y/n), it's rather important"
"and that is...."
"There's a rather strong and powerful kishin that can't be defeated so easily, sythes can't defeat it only gun weapons can defeat it, it can break sythes just like that!"
He says with a snap of his finger
"so your saying that I can use Liz and Patty on this thing, I don't even know what kind of weapon (y/n) is-"
"she's a powerful high class sniper" Brandon says with a blank look, I look at him then back at my dad
"ok, useful info."
my dad took over
"your a powerful gun wielding miester of two powerful twin pistols and (y/n) is a very powerful sniper so you two will make a great team on this mission"
he finished with that whole explanation so we agreed on it
"when should we go?"
"Right now"
"what? Right now?"
I Asked a little shocked
"yep now get going"
he said shooing us away
"ok, ok we're going"
I said while walking off with (y/n) right next to me".
Your P.O.V
" ɢᴀʜ!, ɪ'ᴍ ʟɪᴛᴇʀᴀʟʟʏ ɴᴇxᴛ ᴛᴏ ᴋɪᴅ-"
my thoughts were interrupted by lord death talking to kid
"kid, don't forget to keep her close to you so you won't loose her or Brandon!"
I blushed a little as he said that
"yeah I will"
kid said his eyes closed and waving off.
We were out of death city and Brandon was way ahead of kid and I, I was getting scared so whenever I get scared I need to hold on to something so Brandon was way to ahead of me and kid was right next to me. I blushed and hopefully he wouldn't get mad at me so I grabbed his arm and held on to it
"I'm sorry I get scared"
he just looked at me
"It's fine, don't worry about it"
I smiled, he's actually kinda warm and nice and cute-wait what? No no no he will just be a friend and that's it, I nod to myself
"(y/n) you ok?"
I look at him
"yeah. Totally! I'm fine just fine...heheh."
"alright"
he looks back up away from me, his eyes are so cute!-no no no stupid! Don't crush on him do not! I start smacking my head with my other hand
"(y/n)?"
"I don't like kid!"
He looks at me with this face and I cover my mouth
"I didn't mean it that way, I meant like feelings heheh..."
he just nods

I said to myself.
Brandon's P.O.V
I was walking in front of them, I heard (y/n) apologizing to kid, I kinda felt bad for the guy I turned around to see a confused look plastered on his face as (y/n) was holding onto his arm
'ᴅᴏɴ'ᴛ ᴡᴏʀʀʏ, ɪ ᴅᴏɴ'ᴛ ᴜɴᴅᴇʀsᴛᴀɴᴅ ʜᴇʀ sᴏᴍᴇᴛɪᴍᴇs ᴇɪᴛʜᴇʀ.'
I tried to tell him
'sʜᴇ ᴄᴀɴ ʙᴇ ᴀ ʟɪᴛᴛʟᴇ sᴛᴜᴘɪᴅ sᴏᴍᴇᴛɪᴍᴇs'

We finally made it to a big cave where that kishin was, we slowly walked in I bet (y/n) was terrified, Liz was also holding onto kid's arm
'ᴀɢᴀɪɴ, ᴘᴏᴏʀ ɢᴜʏ'
I thought to myself. I saw Patty all happy walking next to me, to be honest she didn't look the least bit scared I was surprised
'ᴀɴᴅ ʟɪᴢ ɪs ᴛʜᴇ ᴏʟᴅᴇʀ ᴏɴᴇ'
I thought to my self. All of a sudden I heard a scream then a loud ʙᴀɴɢ, we all looked at each other then started running towards it, we got there and there were dead body's and blood everywhere. my eyes widened
"(y/n) transform"
she nodded then transformed and landed in my hands, luckily there was a high and good hiding spot so I ran over there as kid ran behind a rock, he then ran out
"prepare to die kishin"
he started shooting at the kishin I aimed (y/n) at it and shot. It hit it right in the head, kid quickly glances at me and smiles, I wink at him before I aim again and kid points at it and we shot at the same time before the kishin-egg was left. I came down from the ledge and kid and I high-five each other
"you can take it since there's only one"
kid said as he patted my shoulder, I nodded as I took out her cartridge and stuck the kishin-egg in it. She and the twins transformed as they streached
"that was fun!"
"hmm your pretty good"
kid said to (y/n) as she stared, her cheeks getting a light red before smiling a little. "heh...thanks"
she said quietly looking away I nudged her a little
"do you like death the kid?"
She looked at me
"what?!...pssh...n-no"
"of course you don't silly me"
I smiled a little being sarcastic.
(Y/n) P.O.V
'I ᴄᴀɴ'ᴛ ʙᴇʟɪᴇᴠᴇ ʜᴇ ᴡᴀs ᴛᴇᴀsɪɴɢ ᴍᴇ! ʜᴏᴡ ᴅɪᴅ ʜᴇ ᴋɴᴏᴡ I ʟɪᴋᴇᴅ ᴋɪᴅ? Sure he does have golden eyes and...those stripes and...that smile...don't get me started on that smile'
"(Y/n)!"
Brandon shouted at me, I snapped out of it
"y-yeah?"
"let's get going"
I nodded my head
'I really wanna hold kid's arm again...'
I walked up to him really slowly.
'I feel like I can trust him already' "hey uh...kid?"
He looked down at me
"yeah?"
I blushed a little
"I have something to tell you"
he continued looking at me
"um...each night I have the same dream...it's in a dark room, a boy stands there and I walk up to him a-and his right hand was covered in blood, I put my hand on his cheek and when I took it off and it had blood on it"
I finished and his eyes were wide a little
"I had the same dream..."
