The commander walks along the dead bodies, staring at the enemies he has slaughtered in the gruesome war. They keep on moving and the war continues going closer and closer to the enemy's empire.

"Now what do we do?" asks a man with blood on his face.

"Keep moving and win this brutal fight." They keep moving and men keep falling, the other empire never stood a stance against them. They get into the empire and take their torches and burn it down, killing everyone in the empire. "Now we go back."

"Sir, thank you," says a man. They head back, most on horseback with their metal armor and swords back in their sheaths, some without a sword or shield because it has been broken or lost. They make it back and the King never moved to give orders knowing that the commander will know what to do to win this small war against a new empire, who killed some of their farmers outside the empire.

"King, we won the war," says the commander.

"Thank you, yet again dear old friend."

"What do you want me to do now?"

"Relax for once and wait until I call upon you again. The commander goes to his home without anyone to love, no family to take care of or the family to take care of him. He sits and waits hoping for another battle to have something to do.

"Burn down the homes," says a man outside. The commander hears it and gets on his horse to warn the king that they have never killed the other empire completely. He runs in through the knights to tell the king.

"King, they are here, the enemy, we haven't killed them yet."

"Get the army ready and kill them all."

"Yes sir," says the man beside him. They move on and put their armor on and move out separately. Footmen move telling everyone what is happening and getting the knights to get ready to fight against them in their own home. Men start to fall, the empire starts to burn with the king still in his palace with his own men to protect him just in case.

"Get the bows ready,' says the commander. The men get the bows ready and start the tips with flames and shoot up. Horses of the enemy get shot. The commander signals to send the men on horses to start to attack them at the same time. The men charge toward the enemy with swords in their hands afraid they will never see their families again. The commander stands behind the others as they charge, the bowmen just watch ready for their signal. Men start to die and blood over everyone, the other enemy starts to dwindle away slowly. The enemy starts to retreat after many of their men lay dead.

"Sir, shall I tell the king that it is safe?" says a man.

"No, I will tell the king that the enemy is gone." He goes to the empire with the guards knowing who he is, he lets them in. "Dear King, Yet again the enemy is gone, they have retreated back, what shall we do now?"

"Attack them right away." The commander gets the men ready and starts off with him in front with his horse. After a night they make it back to the empire they once burned and start to fight the men they saw on the way no matter who they were because they could have been an enemy of one of the enemies.

"We are here commander," says a man.

"Attack!" yells the commander. They all charge and yet again they throw torches at the houses. The enemy wasn't suspecting them to charge them right after they attacked them; they were not ready and most of them died. There is blood all over and the king awaits watching from above and the burned castle of where he stands able to stop the flames on time somehow.

"Defend the empire!" yells the king above. His men start to gather together making a strong defensive attack. Arrows start to fly into their defensive strategy and it starts to fail and they try to run away abandoning the king to save their own lives.

"Bring me the king," the commander tells his men. The men drag the king down the castle. The commander ties the king to his horse with a small cart-like structure behind so the king doesn't die while being dragged back to their empire.

"Please I beg of you, just kill me now," says the king while they stopped to get water.

"You disrespect us, and attack us." He punches the king until he can no longer speak and they keep moving. They go back to the empire and the commander drags the king to his king.

"This is the man that started all of this," says the commander.

"What happened to the rest of his men?"

"We killed most of them, the ones we didn't run into the forest." The king takes his knife and cuts off the king's fingers.

"Tie him up and burn him at the stake."

"When will it be?"

"Tell all my people to come and watch in an hour from now." The commander drags the men to the pit outside and ties him up and ties him to the pole.

"Tell everyone that they have to come and watch," the commander tells his men. After an hour they start the flames and the man starts to slowly burn at the stake. Everyone around them cheered for this victory. Then torches start to drop from above the gates again, the empire starts to burn down again.

"Kill them," says the commander. He grabs his sword and stays by the stake to kill anyone who tries to help him escape. The men were killed and were beheaded by the commander and ordered by the king he put their heads by the men that were burning at the stake. The man burns alive at the stake.

"Now what do you want me to do king now that we have finally finished the war?"

"Now you can stand by my side and help me with what I shall ask you."

"Okay now my dear king." He cleans his sword and his armor and now stands by the king's side with whatever he needs help with. The king makes sure that everyone respects the commander and the commander can get whatever he wants. No empire attacked again while the commander was helping the king knowing that the commander was a strong commander.
