Kia's POV

*play End Of An Era by Dua Lipa*

As I heard the loud bell go off, my feet were already slamming against the ground at alarming rates.

Once ahead of the competition, I spread my wings which helped me glide ten feet up in the air, causing some people to yelp or rather scream their absolute fucking lungs out, which I found quite amusing, smirking down at all the shitbags below, letting out a small chuckle.

Due to my legs being so perfectly sculpted in this form, I immediately was ahead of everyone but one, making me tie with the blond.

His hands shot out sharp explosions propelling him forward at a rate similar to mine. 'How the fuck is he so fast? Whatever, it doesn't matter right now, focus Kia, focus.'

I finally aimed into the air, enlarging my wings as I flew high into the sky, about eighty to one hundred feet up, creating a large shadow as I took down bots using the spikes of my wings like projectiles.

The blond was about to charge at one of the bots I had already sent a spike to. Fear rushed into my body as I got the quick mental flash of him getting killed because of me.

I swooped down as fast as I could, pushing him out of the way, the spike creating a large gash on my stomach. I groaned out, making the whole area echo with the roar of my voice. I closed my eyes, hitting the ground roughly, tumbling a good distance.

"Dumbass, are you trying to kill me!"

I could hear the yelling blond above me, sparks popping in his hands. I sat up as much as I could and glared at him. My eye color reflected the same red as his. "I fucking saved your life! You should be more grateful," I growled at the figure above me.

I plated one of my claws with reinforced scales, looking at it for a brief moment, 'well... it won't be the worst scar I have.' Taking a deep breath, I readied myself for the severe pain coming. I blew fire on the claw until was hot enough to cauterize the cut.

The boy looked confused and still angry. I watched a quick flash of recognition that I probably didn't have any stuff to bandage myself up temporarily cross over his anger-covered face.

Before I could put the scolding claw to my stomach, he yanked my wrist away before my claw made contact with the bleeding cut that traced a deep red line over my stomach as blood drained out. "Don't fucking do that, dumbass! You'll burn yourself!" He screamed above me, holding my wrist tight in his hand.

"How the fuck else am I supposed to heal myself?" I growled, asking genuinely with soft eyes, trying to show how genuine I was. Because I didn't expect to be getting hurt, I didn't pack anything to heal myself until I could at least get to Recovery Girl.

He searched for something in his pockets with a growl before throwing something at me and shooting himself off with a blast to fight more robots. I flinched at the object hitting me before picking it up. Once I realized it was bandages I snickered before wrapping them around my stomach.

I killed many more bots after I wrapped myself up. When the timer echoed its loud horn once more, I smiled, happy with the idea of how many points I got.

Because I didn't want to distract myself by adding all the points up in my head and have the number possibly be wrong, I made a code that would count how many points I accumulated.

Like programmed, while everything was going on, my computer was tracking how many points I had gotten. When looked at the data I was a little disappointed given I thought it would be higher, but was still happy with what I got.

I immediately went to Recovery Girl, my happy ass smiling about how the blond gave me his bandages. I opened the door about to declare what had happened to the old woman, I glanced around the small room to not find her in the nurses' office. 'Weird.'

Just as I was about to walk out and look for her, there was a boy in bad condition who was being brought in by the robots that Recovery Girl would have in the nurses' office. I was shocked to see a boy in such bad shape after just the entrance exam. 'How the fuck...'

When Recovery Girl finally entered I walked over to her to talk. "Hey, so I accidentally cut my stomach and I was wondering if you could heal it for me real quick so I can get back to Toshinori. He's probably looking for me right now."

"Of course, love." The little woman kissed my forehead and I felt better almost immediately even if I did get tired.

"Thanks! See you later!" I waved as I left, taking off the pesky collar and shoving it in my pocket, letting my wolf features out, my dark tail swaying slowly from side to side happily.

Not long later, I could hear heavy footsteps behind me. I noticed it was the broccoli boy who just moments ago was lying in the bed. I slowed my movements, eventually coming to his side. "Hey, are you ok? You were in rough shape not too long ago. What happened?"

The boy instantly got super red-faced, which confused the hell out of me, but I still decided to wait for his answer. The boy finally responded, but he was a stuttering mess so all I could make out was that he killed the zero-pointer and that he was still learning more about his quirk.

"You're all good, I'm still working on my quirk as well, it can't ever be mastered fully, though," I said, rubbing the nape of her neck with an embarrassed chuckle.

The boy was confused, rightfully so, but also very intrigued, so I tried to explain it. "My quirk is shapeshifting, I can shift into other people and animals, also animal-human hybrids." I paused for a second as I saw him process the information before continuing, "Oh yeah, I never got your name. What's your name?"

"O-oh s-s-sorry my name is Izuku Midoriya, but you can call me Izuku," I was glad to have a name for his face now, which got me wondering about the blond from earlier given I remembered him sitting next to him while we got our instructions.

"Just wondering, but do you have a name for the blond you were sitting next to? He helped me in the entrance exam and I wanted to thank him," I asked hopefully and got the answer I wanted.

"Oh, Kacchan? Wait he helped you??"

"Yeah, he did. But thanks for telling me. I'll try and find him so I can thank him... well, thanks for the help!" I waved to the boy as I began walking in the other direction to find Toshinori and head home.
