In Love with my Best friend’s Brother

  I stared at the sea loving the way it shimmered like diamonds, and how the rising sun warmed the earth with its glistening rays of warmth. I felt the wind blowing shivering kisses that raised goose bumps along my skin, and the soft sand tickle my feet as I walked along the shore listening to the soothing sound of the crashing wind.

He was coming tonight ……

  Reopening the wounds that he never knew of and, fortunately, will never know of cause he’s marrying in a couple of weeks. The truth is I am in love with my best friend’s brother, but I couldn’t tell him because he always thought of me as a friend. I thought at first that it’s only a simple crush, and that it is going to vanish soon but it never did. The opposite obviously happened, and I became addicted in a way that I could never stop thinking of him.

  Andrew has the most amazing pair of ocean blue eyes that are full of erotic emotions and mysteries waiting to be deciphered, and hair as black as midnight that casted on him a very angelic and sexy look. He was every girl’s dream on this planet since he was crowned as our prince but, nevertheless, I didn’t fall in love with him because of his sexy pictures in newspapers and the power he poses like every girl though.

  No I fell in love with him because whenever he smiled I felt butterflies in my stomach, and my heart would beat so fast that I thought I would faint away, and whenever he touched me I would feel electric shocks running through me and warming me up. In other words I was deeply and unconditionally in love with him.

‘Miss Anastasia, your father requests you in his study’ Elena, the maid, said.

‘Alright Elena tell him I will be there in ten minutes’ I sighed smiling in her way.

  My father is the king’s closest friends since they were young. They fought together side by side and always guided each other. I have the same relationship with the king’s daughter, Bella, and I am proud to have such a great friend like her. Of course she doesn’t know of the love I keen for her brother. I’ve known them my whole life but since Andrew was older than us by three years, he moved to college and was finally coming back home tonight, leading in the excitement of the whole kingdom.

‘You asked to see me father?’ I asked him as I entered his study.

  ‘Yes dear. Today the king is throwing a party for his beloved son and is inviting all his friends and family to attend this party to congratulate the prince on his remarkable results in college and as a welcome back party. The queen sent you a dress as a gift already and the party is going to start at seven o’clock so I suggest that you get yourself ready on time so we won’t be late. Okay honey?’

‘Of course dad’

I went to my room and as soon as I opened the door I was tackled by a hug from my gorgeous friend.

‘Surprise’ she said grinning from ear to ear.

‘Oh so you now remember me’ I said glaring at her.

‘Oh come on, you know I had a lot of things to do considering that I am your princess’ she said smugly.

‘Oh yes my princess I certainly know how busy you are going after your prince charming’ I said teasingly.

‘Oh god drop the act! I was just going with him on a tour as my father ordered me to do!’ she said blushing.

‘Really? Just fill me in with the details will you?’
