Oh oh oh, you know what sounds really good right now? Sushi!

Me
Sushi? Mi amore, you're a cannibal. In Hell.

Well yeah but right now it sounds AMAZING! Funny how these things work.

Carmilla sighed as she put her phone down, putting her fingers to her temples as the headache already threatened to set in.

She had read up on pregnancy prior, of course she did, and she experienced the symptoms before with someone else. But with Rosie, they were a touch different, and with Rosie, the 'pregnancy cravings' took a unique and interesting twist of challenge even this early on.

Being a cannibal was a fragile thing, Carmilla had learned, especially with how long Rosie herself had been. They had one off instances where a rare steak would be a suitable substitute, and they were able to have nice date nights every so often. But with the pregnancy, revealed not terribly long ago, Rosie had cravings to eat things not normally within her dietary restriction; either they resulted in Rosie retching the next morning after an entire day of indulging that conflicting food, or Carmilla finding the closest possible thing to make due with that craving.

But now, why of all of the things in Hell was her body having her crave fucking sushi?? Carmilla would never understand it.

However, she was dedicated to doing anything and everything for the love of her life, even if that meant finding some impossible way in Hell to find someone or something to come close to sushi.

Carmilla hung her head briefly still, grumbling innate profanities in strings in Spanish before she lifted her head at last, reaching to press a button on her desk. "Clara." She spoke clearly and distinctly. "I need contact with Crimson from Greed."

"Crimson? As in the mobster? Why do you need contact with him, Mother?" Clara sounded just as confused as Carmilla felt upon reading Rosie's text earlier, and she sighed.

"Ay dios mio" It was mumbled briefly before she continued. "Because Rosie is craving sushi, of all possible things. I'm willing to make a business deal with him in return for one of his... Employees." That was the easiest way to get a fish-like demon without any extensive searching upon Pride, ensuring that Rosie would have a suitable dinner without making her sick.

"Isn't there a sushi store in Zeezi's district?" Clara's voice was filled with hesitation as she offered the solution, to which Carmilla could only shake her head.

She really didn't want to deal with any throwing up or involuntary mishaps. "Yes, but do remember Rosie's condition." The word was said with a bit of tactile spite. She loved her, by Lucifer she loved her very much. But that was by far an inconvenience when it came to trying to make a happy lover and mother of her child. "What use is sustenance if she has to throw it back up or her body reacts violently?"

There was a bit of a hesitant hum on the other end, but soon enough Clara compiled just the same as Carmilla had. "Yes, Mother. I'll prepare the line."

It was one gruesome hour over the phone, debating and dealing with one of the lowest that Greed had to offer. Carmilla couldn't speak much for herself as a sinner in Pride, but what she could attest for was her weapons were known far and wide through every ring in Hell. Crimson was a stiff man, he'd done the business and had Greed nearly entirely in his pocket. One would think a deal for one measly employee wouldn't be such a hard bargain, but while she never told Crimson what she wanted him for, he drove up quite the price to see what he could get for Carmilla's demand.
