'Huh? Who is this girl?' Jay racked his brain but he couldn't remember or recognise the girl. He ruffled his messy hair trying to remember.
"You really don't recognise me?" The girl asked Jay. The girl wore a jean skirt with a simple white tshirt and a muffler. She hid her eyes under her bangs and bluish spectacles.
Jay just shrugged his shoulders.
'Maybe she had mistaken me for someone else.' He thought.
"Ok calm down. Let's have a seat first." Syiho suggested.
Jay was seated next to Syiho while the girl was seated across them.
"So, do you guys know each other?" Syiho started the conversation once they were seated.
"No." (Jay)
"Yes." (The girl)
They coincidently answered in sync.
"Well?" Syiho raised her eyebrows. She thought they couldn't have possibly known each other since they just got back from the away mission.
"Actually no. But we bumped into each other last night. I guess it doesn't bother him much." The girl finally explained.
'Oh. Her.' Jay finally remembered the girl that he bumped into last night.
"Oh I see. Now that you two are acquainted, let's get you guys to know each other better. This is my boyfriend, Jay. And Jay, this is my friend, Julianna. I have been working for her family before going to the away mission so we are quite close." Syiho introduced both of them in brief.
"Jay. Nice to meet you."
"I'm Julianna. You can just call me Julie."
They both shook hands.
"Btw you guys are of the same age. So get along well you two."
"Oh really? Ok." Julie replied.
"..."
The air was awkward between the two. Jay wasn't trying to be friendly and Julie was still sceptical of him too.
"Have you ordered something already?" Syiho broke the silence.
"I did. I ordered mac n cheese and their new cake. Why don't you guys order something too?"
"What would you like Jay?" Syiho flipped the menu and spotted something that she would like to eat.
"Anything is fine."
"Ok. Waiter! I'd like two spaghetti bolognese and an orange juice and an iced chocolate and a slice of chocolate fudge cake." Syiho called a waiter and immediately ordered everything that she wanted to eat.
"That's all, miss?"
"Yes. Thank you!"
While Syiho ordered their meal, Julie had been busy observing the guy who seemed uninterested, seated beside Syiho.
'He has the look but he doesn't smile even when greeting with me earlier. He gives off unfriendly vibes. His hair is messy and abit darker than mine. His eyes... They are blue? Why would Syiho date this guy anyway?'
Julie kept observing Jay who kept looking outside the window as Syiho ordered. She was still abit upset over the incident last night.
"Soooo what happened between you guys?" Syiho was curious and Jay finally gave his attention to them.
"I bumped into her." Jay suddenly spoke up.
"You ruined my precious comic books though. Yet you didn't even bother to apologise to me." She tried to be calm.
