The moonlight shines, Aether sits on his bed in the inn he recently went to a few minutes ago. Sumeru is a city of knowledge yet there is no knowledge available about it. But, Aether found one clue while listening to conversations around the streets.
So he ventured to look for this clue. It was rather far from the city, so he had to travel there by sea.
"Thank Archons for boats."
Riding through the silent river, the moon shining in his eyes when he saw his destination.
"Port Ormos."
A famous destination in Sumeru for tours, for it's unique atmosphere and vibe. It's often called the chill part of Sumeru, not really focusing on academic studies and is ofter visited because of the numerous stalls and taverns. As Aether roamed the lively streets, a certain sign peeked his interest, just like the conversation he overheared.
"Did you know that there was a rumor about the "Abyss' Messenger?"
"Abyss Messenger? Now that sounds sketchy, why are you asking about that?"
"Well, the rumor said when you want to ask something or need help- for example needing money or information about something, he'll give anything you need!"
"Woah! Really? Is there anyone in this Teyvat that generous? That almost sounds like a scam!"
" Well it's not! A while ago, one of my friends went to him and asked for 30,000 mora for his tuition fee and the Abyss Messenger gave him it!"
A series of surprised exclamations was heard.
"But there's a catch. To get what you want from the Abyss Messenger, you have to tell him a deep, dark secret, like the abyss. That's why he's called "Abyss' Messenger."
"Where is he?"
"Djafar Tavern."
