~Ep 18: Brother???😳

Jogging.....
Finally, we arrived at our destination, at the little ice cream car which nestled on a corner street. Taehyung, with his playful charm, said
"Let's have a sweet treat to reward ourselves for our efforts."

"No no .. its okay ...let's go!!" I  protested his wish..

"Gwenchana...wait na ..!!!" He said while not listening to me and then continued further...
"Umm a chocolate flavour ice cream..
And you ??" He said while stating his choice and asking you for yours ...

"Umm butterscotch for me" I replied while giving in his wish..

"Ohk ... Butterscotch one please..." he then ordered..

Taehyung placed our order with the friendly attendant before turning back to me with a gleam in his eye.

"You didn't have to.." I protested once more, touched by his thoughtfulness.

"Come on, it's no big deal.." he reassured me, his warm gaze melting away any lingering doubts.

After a few seconds... with our ice creams in hand, we found a cozy spot, savoring its cold flavouring cream...

Licking the ice cream, the creamy sweetness of the butterscotch ice cream, danced in my mouth.
As we were doing so, a gentle vibration in my pocket startled me.

Taking the phone out, I noticed Taehyung's expectant gaze, his eyes twinkling with anticipation. With a grin, I handed him the device.

"Taehyung, here, take your phone!" I said while handing over to him ...

His eyes widened in surprise, his expression one of pure delight. "Woah... Y/N!!!! Where did you find it?" he exclaimed, his happiness radiating from every inch of face.

With a sly grin playing at the corners of my lips, I said, "Guess what, women are more proficient than men." 😌

A soft chuckle escaped his lips as he absorbed her words, his eyes dancing with a mixture of amusement and gratitude. "Ohkay... I won't argue with you today" he replied, his tone laced with a hint of teasing accent. "Because today you helped me a lot... which was unexpected from you!"

"Why so??" Y/N's voice was laced with question mark as she gazed at him with her golden eyes.

He paused, considering her inquiry with a thoughtful expression before responding, "Because you are that goody-goody sincere girl type..." His words held a hint of admiration, a recognition of her inherent goodness that he has seen her through in every action.

A soft smile tugged at her lips as she nodded, with a gracious nod.
"Ummm, yeah but it's not counted in friendship. Since we are friends, I helped you... If a friend will not help then who will???" y/n said giving a simple explanation, unknown to her that her words spoke volumes about the unspoken bond that existed between them.

Hearing it, he smiled internally taking in her words which made him feel content and agreed with a smile "Yup...!!"

Finishing the last bite of her ice cream before reaching for her purse.
"I'll pay the bill..."

But before she could insist, he interrupted with a gentle protest, "Annio... I'll pay!! you pay next time... it's a treat from my side..."

She hesitated for a moment, touched by his gesture of kindness, before finally giving in with a nod. "Hmmm...okay!!"

And with that, their encounter came to an end from sharing a risky situation to sharing an ice cream...and then they parted their ways ..
