Chapter 2: Laz

"Arden there you are!" exclaimed Haylie

"Yeah we been waitin' for you whats going on?" I asked him as he floated around us

Arden opened his arms to reveal a shiny glowing object inside. We all looked in amazement of the beauty in his arms. It looked to be a shining gem. "Come, all of you" Arden said.

We all followed Arden to the cloudspace where he did all of his work. He pulled down the map on his wall as it shun upon us showing us even more gems among the map.

"These are the crystals of Esperia. Truly the most important beauties that keep this world intact. Long ago they were spread in locations, usually desolate ones, to keep them save from people who want to use it for there selfish needs."

"Selfish needs?" Lionel asked.

"Yes, it is unclear just exactly what power these crystals present, yet this fact makes it even more of a reason for people to collect them and use them for whatever wrong.

Arden walked around and opened up a drawer to discover 2 other crystals in his belonging. "I am currently in possession of 3 of them. I would like to have the rest of them to keep them safe from wrong once and for all."

Sky looked up in confusion. "So what are we supposed to do exactly?"

Arden walked back to the map and pointed at a blue shiny crystal. "The topaz crystal is in the belonging of a powerful S N. He plans to use this crystal to crumble this world even more than it already is."

"So were supposed to find this guy and get it back?" Nate asked

"Seems simple enough" Lionel stated confidently

Arden turned around and looked at him. "That right there is what will destroy you all. Underestimating just what kind of opponent your going against. Laz is not one to be taken lightly. It will mostly take your wits rather than your brawn to defeat Laz.

Sky chuckled. "Oh c'mon Arden I could totally take on this guy, have a little-"

"No." Arden interrupted. "You will do as I say and how I said it. I do not need you ending up in a grave. Do you all understand."

We all looked at eachother concerningly but nodded in agreement.

"Good." Arden said turning around to point at his map. "Laz lives among lands of water. His abilities are useless without it, you should be able to find him in the Northerns of Esperia.

"Don't sweat it Arden, we got this." Jackson said putting his arm on my shoulder roughly. "Right Adam?"

I nodded awkwardly then side eyed him.

"Good. Get going, we need these crystals."

We all nodded as Arden floated out of the cloud room then out of the scene. We all walked out of the cloud room into the scene.

"So how are we gonna find this guy? The Northern of Esperia is huge." Tyrone asked

"Well we have to find him. He seemed pretty serious about this, more than he is usually. I said

"Well we should probably get going, we aren't gonna get anything done just standing around here," Aubrey said leaving the scene. We all nodded then followed Aubrey out of the scene.

We walked out and into the forest that leads to Northern Esperia. We made sure to keep our eyes up and open. I was kind of scared. I've never done well in dark places and kept my guard up in case someone were to come up at me from my back.

"Yall see any sign of him?" Lionel asked

We nodded our heads no not seeing any sign of anything. "This place seems oddly peaceful." Aubrey stated
