The prince carefully knocked on the office door. ,,You may come in" . He heard his mother's voice coming from the room.

He pushed down the handle of the door and entered quietly. His mother stood at the door to a small balcony and turned to Ferndall as he walked into the room. Ferdall bowed to the queen and said slowly: "Hello, mother. I need to discuss something with you regarding the current investigation. If you have a free moment, I would like to ask you if you could talk to me."

She looked at him and said, "I'll give you the possibility, but don't waste my time." Ferndall nodded and began to explain the situation. He could already see in his mother's face that she had no interest in helping them and was only letting him speak out of politeness. When he had told her everything, he looked at the queen hopefully. But his worries were confirmed when she began to speak: "I think you already know what I'm going to say. You don't really believe a stranger, do you? You hear something about a prophecy and suddenly you want to leave the country. You just want to shirk your duties. I am very disappointed in you. I thought I had raised you well."

Ferndall wanted to say something but she interrupted: "Please go now, I don't have time for such a stupidity." The prince hesitated for a moment, but then said: "Yes, mother. I'm sorry, it wasn't my intention to waste your time." He bowed again and left the room.As Ferndall walked through the corridors of the castle, an uneasy feeling spread through him. After this conversation he had no choice but to set off with his companions against his mother's will.

When Ferndall arrived at the meeting room he looked in, but neither Gall nor Laxus were in there. He remembered that Gall wanted to research the exact location of the artifact, so the prince made his way to the elf's room.

When he got there, he knocked on the door and immediately heard the blond's voice: "Come in."Ferndall came into the room. Gall sat at the desk and turned to him. He smiled at him but when he saw the prince's face he asked a little worried: "Are you okay, Dear? You look as if the conversation with your mother didn't go as you had hoped." The prince sighed and then said, "I already knew she wouldn't help us. I just thought she trusted me enough to change her mind. But it doesn't matter now. We'd best leave tonight. Have you found out the location of the artifact?""Yes, take a look at this." the elf pointed to a map that was on the desk. Ferndale stepped closer and looked at it. On the card Necropolis and Lenora were depicted. There was a marking in the mountains of Lenora, which was near the border of Necropolis. The mountains of Lenora were known for hikers and caravans regularly disappearing there."There must be a hidden entrance to a temple somewhere in the area around the marking." said Gall. Ferndall nodded and said: "I have decided that we will leave tomorrow night. That way we have enough time to prepare everything and we will also have a good nights rest." The blond looked down and said: "That's a good idea. However, there is something else I have to tell you before we leave: I would have gone on this journey alone if I had been able to collect the artefacts on my own. However, I can't do that. Only one person at my disposal is able to open the gates of the temples in which the artefacts are located, with his blood . That person is you, Ferndall and I want to explain to you why: It's because of your father. I don't think you know it, but your father was supposed to become a high priest in one of the gods' temples. The blood of his family was blessed; it is the key to the hidden temples and therefore yours too. It was important to me that I let you know that before we got there."

Ferndall was speechless for a brief moment, but then he asked: "How much blood are you talking about?" Gall smiled and replied: "Don't worry, it's not much, you'll hardly notice it and you won't get hurt badly, I would not allow that to happen anyway. Of course I won't force you. It's your decision."

"If there are no major disadvantages, I have no reason not to do it. Thank you for telling me, especially the things with my father. I barely know anything about him and I am therefore grateful for any information about him... I'm going to go pack my things now. In the evening we'll all meet in the meeting room to discuss everything."
