all the moments we both had
they rest in peace in the past
always in the back of your mind
slowly forgotten as the time flies
but now while im gone
what do you see me in?
what reminds you of me
of the memories we made
the moon is beautiful right
we used to say that
i havent seen the moon in months
because i know youre looking at it too
it is a way of contact
a very far one, so subtle too
but it is there for sure
it really does exist, for me
or what you would do?
when you go on walks
all by yourself no one with you
would you go to that place?
to remind yourself of how we met
would you see my sillhouette
smiling full of joy walking around
or would you lay in bed ive slept on
or when you walk home
you take the same path every day
from anyplace you go home from
you always end up on the same path
but i always walk with you
the same damn path with you
you live a few steps away
we were close in every way
would you feel the absence
the non existence of my presence
you would walk all alone
and no one to talk to
walking by that same damn path
i mean whatever i say,
whatever i come up with
whoever i reffer to as "you"
no one. in some way.
because it can be multiple people
it can be a fantasy and and illusion
honest with you, its you all.
if it were for me to meet earth between death
where do you see me
where do i take a thought in your mind?
how long would it take you to forget me
and the only memory being a place where i want my ashes to be scattered.
no one knows that place.
