After what seemed like an endless cycle of introducing ourselves to our instructors and classmates, our classes finally ended.
"Ellie! Do you by chance want to come with us sa mall? We really want to get to know you." I heard one of my classmates ask her. I looked over to see Elle getting invited by two girls.
She gave them a warm smile as she agreed to go with them.
"I guess I'll go home alone then." I thought to myself. I started to fix my things in my bag before standing up and leaving.
While I was maneuvering my way out of the parking lot, I saw them walking out of the school gates.
"Enjoy yourself." I muttered.
GABRIELLE'S POV
"So, Ellie! May crush ka ba sa room natin? We already revealed our crushes sayo! Baka naman?!" Kianna asked me cheerfully.
"Actually wala akong gusto sa room natin guys." I laughed.
"Hmmm, not even Alistair? Napapansin namin na tumitingin siya sayo kapag eh. Pogi din siya ha." I choked on my drink upon hearing his name.
"Oh my god! Hell no." I said loudly making them look at me with a curious expression.
"Ganito kase yon." I cleared my throat before saying something. "He's my childhood enemy." I grimmaced remembering the silly pranks he used to pull on me.
"Oh my god!" Kianna squealed which made me look at her.
"Enemies to lovers always work out, beshie!" Lyra made my slap my palm on my face.
"Over my hot and sexy dead body will I ever end up with him. Dzuh." I said making them laugh.
"It's getting a bit late why dont we grab an uber na para makauwi na tayo sa mga apartments natin?" I suggested since it's already seven pm na.
"Yeah we should. I want to take a shower na din since medyo nahaggard na ko kakapakilala sa school kanina." Kianna said flipping her hair. I chuckled.
We each called an uber for us to ride and went straight to our own apartments.
As I was opening the front door I can hear our television running the anime series Solo Leveling. I immediately opened the door to see what episode was playing.
"Could you open the door gently? Nakakagulat ka eh." Al said in an annoyed tone.
"What episode are you on?" I asked him while I was closing the door.
"Episode 5." He said simply. "Perfect!" I replied before sitting down beside him on the sofa removing my uniform's necktie.
"Pinapanood mo din to?" Al asked me with a curious tone.
"Yes! I even finished the manhwa na kase di ako makapaghintay ng new episodes." I said chuckling.
"Di ka parin nagbabago." He mumbled.
"Well, some things just never change. For example, I still hate you." I said sticking my tongue out at him. But he just lets out a soft laugh.
"Want some snacks? 2 episodes pa yan baka magutom ka." He offered. "Meron ka ba jan?" I asked him but instead of answering, hinampas niya sa mukha ko yung isang piatos.
"Thank you talaga." I said sarcastically.
"Welcome." He said with a chuckle.
ALISTAIR'S POV
Afte finishing the available episodes of solo leveling she stood up and told me that she needs to shower so I gave her a nod. I watch her figure stand up and walk towards her room.
I stayed on our sofa while scrolling through social media trying to find something interesting to ease my boredom.
Oops! Ang larawang ito ay hindi sumusunod sa aming mga alituntunin sa nilalaman. Upang magpatuloy sa pag-publish, subukan itong alisin o mag-upload ng bago.
"Don't you dare peak!" I heard Elle shout from the bathroom followed by the sound of closing doors. "As if." I mumbled to myself.
When I couldn't fine any interesting posts on social media, i decided to grab some beer in our kitchen.
"Pangpaantok lang." I tought to myself
While opening a bottle, I saw Elle walking towards the kitchen wearing her silk bath robe.
"Can I have one too?" She said smiling.
I cross my arms over my chest leaning my body on the kitchen counter.
"Not until you get dressed." I said before taking a sip from my bottle. "Oh, you're right." She said as she ran towards her room.
I shook my head. "She seems to be getting too comfortable around me sooner that I expected." I thought to myself.
