Charles could not take it anymore. Ever since that night, he could barely comprehend what was happening to him. He was lucky enough that there were a few days before the next race. He had tried to get a hold of himself, but no matter how many times he tried to come up with a realization, it always ends up to one; he was madly in love with his best friend.
Speaking of best friend, Pierre Gasly had been accompanying the Ferrari driver and was honestly getting fed up with his thought process. If it was up to Pierre, he would have locked the best friends in a room and not let them out until they finished making out, but then again, he didn't have the power to do so.
The French stared at the Monegasque, he had been staying in Monaco for days now and was honestly missing his own partner who was back in Milan. "Are you seriously still doubting yourself Charles? We have been over this a million times." Pierre said annoyed.
Charles sighed, " I just- was I really that much of an idiot to not see her like that?" Pierre rolled his eyes at his question. He had been questioning himself why he keeps tolerating Charles' questions.
"Yes. Now will you just accept that you are in love with Thalie so I can text her acting like you so you two can meet up?" Pierre said, his patience thinning. Charles stared at him, he was holding back and the French knew that.
Pierre sighed, "Listen to me Charles, and listen carefully because this is the last time, I am going to say this." He said.
The Monegasque hummed but nodded, he knew what Pierre will say. Pierre had been telling him for days now, he was just stubborn.
"Thalie had invited you to go on a date with her because of one thing. You know what's her reason." Pierre said. But Charles just stared at him, "Don't make me hit you. Why did she ask you out?"
