-references to children dying in the arena (nothing explicit, just mentioned)
-references to past substance abuse, and recovery from it
-a brief, blink-and-you-miss-it reference to suicide through substance abuse (about Alpard)
-vague reference to torture (not explicit with zero details and likely subtle enough that you won't pick up on it, but still, just in case)
-mentions of murder (forced murder, due to the arena)
-references to blatant mistreatment to servants
-brief reference to someone being objectified, even as a minor (kind of like a watered down version of finnick without the forced prostitution (if you've read the books), because i simply do not have it in my heart to do that, but the sentiment behind it is still terrible and not unlike the sexualization that many young actors have had to face, i.e. millie bobby brown, finn wolfhard, etc etc, as examples. i don't dive into it much, it's just mentioned in passing, because it makes me uncomfortable and i hate it)
and im pretty sure that's it. the warnings make it seem really bad, but this is actually a fairly cute chapter. enjoy that while it lasts. we've got some fun tension, as well as adorable, awkward bumbling, and a suprise!
