"You blind fuck."I turned to where the voice came from and grinned as Seokjin's footsteps grew louder. I know exactly why he's calling me names.
"You really thought I wouldn't notice? Or did you think I wouldn't accuse you because you're blinder than a mole rat?"
I couldn't help but chuckle at my friend's exclaims. He's not that original with mudslinging, but he surely knows how to bring it in a hilarious manner.
"You're laughing?! I now have to do the entire project with him... you want me to die of embarrassment?" Seokjin's screams were as dramatic as his personality and it wouldn't surprise me if no student in the hallways bothered to look our way. I wouldn't know, though.
"It's a way for you to finally stop annoying me with your crush and start irritating him," I tell him and smile at his growl.
"No, but seriously, I didn't really do anything. Mister Wang asked me if you were any good at tutoring others and I said you were and then he told me he wanted you to tutor Jinyoung. I didn't do anything, really," I say and put my hands up. Seokjin sometimes likes to act like a teenage girl instead of a 21 year old man.
"You said that's a great idea," Seokjin grumbles.
"It is, isn't it?" I smiled and before I could react, he punched my shoulder. I laugh as he then circles his arm around it and leads me toward our second class of the day.
"You're lucky I'm such an amazingly charming person who will totally rock his world and have him falling for me," Seokjin sighs.
"Don't forget, humble," I add with a laugh.
"It's what we call self-knowledge, Jeongguk. It's never wrong to be confident, you should try it out. Despite you're blindness, your looks certainly have the girls around us staring for a shameful bit," Seokjin says and I could hear the grin in his voice.
I hum at that, "Perhaps it's not confidence I'm lacking, but desire. The desire to actually find a partner," I point out and hear him sigh loudly.
"I know, I know. You sit out this year, then you abandon me and this world, and then maybe you will find a nice human woman or man to spend your life with, but you won't go for a wolf," Seokjin mutters and smacks my head weakly. "Maybe you're forgetting to possibility of finding a mate?"
"I'm 20, Seokjin. I don't think I'll be so unfortunate to find my mate in these last couple of months. My plans are set."
"But what if you do find your mate?" Seokjin asks curiously. He probably forgot my answer to that question when he asked it three times before. I sigh.
"You're getting old, Jin. I told you three times before. If I do find my mate and they don't reject me, I will try it, obviously. But do you really think my mate will want me?" I ask him.
"And this is what I mean by you lacking confidence, Gguk. Yes, they'll want you. Maybe it'd be hard when they're an Omega, but come on, I'll be here to help out!" Seokjin exclaims as we arrive at our class.
"Yeah, whatever. Let's just stop talking about this topic," I groan as we sit at our places.
"Hey, Hyungul! Tomorrow it's your little boyfriend's birthday, isn't it? Ready to finally find your mate?"
Of course, they need to start talking about it.
Moments like these make me happy I lost my sight. I have absolutely no desire to see Hyungul's smug face as he disrespectfully talks about his boyfriend; Kim Taehyung.
