Whispers of the wind

chapter 2

The stars are everywhere in the sky tonight, Nova and Raven are walking down the road to the club. This place is as light as the sun, it’s pink and blue, green and yellow, it’s welcoming, ready to party. Nova and her best friend walk in ready to drink and end up drunk on the sofa at home. Raven with her black shirt with a skull on it and dark baggy pants go fast to the bar to get a drink. She sits down on the stool bar and calls Kevin, the bartender, over.
-Hey Kevin! Get me a mojito.
-Coming right up! The bar was big but still full of people, some guys were sitting alone on the stool bar and some others were trying to get girls home. Nova was talking to one of them, she was acting like she cared but Raven knew she didn’t. Her hand slid in the guy’s pocket and took his money, he didn’t even realize it. Nova said bye to him and turned around, she bumped into a man who looked like her father. She stopped everything she was doing and stared at him, she took a scared and stressed breath and walked backward, still staring. She again bumped into someone but this time she instantly turned around and said sorry. The group of three though didn’t like it, the guy she bumped into said with an angry voice:
-What are you looking at? He had blond and short hair, not a friendly look in his eyes and leather clothes. Nova instantly took her personality back and spoked like she had a thousand lives.
- You idiot, you’re in my way.
- Well I ain’t moving little girl. Raven walked fast to her friend to try and help. A girl with brown hair and another guy with the same hair color stand behind the guy who’s assaulting Nova. Raven stands between them and defend her friend:
-Leave her alone dude, there's many people here she just didn’t see you it’s fine. The other girl with brown hair talked too.
-You leave him alone too girls, scram.
-Oh you go fuck yourself bitch. The blond guy punches Raven in the face and starts a fight between the five of them. Nova punches them in return but they get stopped fast. The security guys came and threw them out of the club. They all fell on the street with people passing by, the city lights were brighter than the sun. The group of three looked at Nova with anger until all of their faces changed. On the street floor Nova was sitting, making sure her face was fine after this fight, in her left jean pocket a paper fell. The guy with blond hair stared at it before asking frightened:
-Where did you find this paper? He looked down to the paper and up to Nova.
-At my old house, why? Nova answered, Raven took a white tissue and whipped off the blood on Nova’s face. She looked away one second and far, across the street, saw a shadow of an adorable cat with white lightened eyes. Raven ignored it and put the now red tissue in her pocket. The group of three stood up and ran away, the girl that was with them was laughing and the boys were giggling. Nova looked at her falling paper, the one that she took from her dead dad; “Pay your debt” Nova stopped breathing for a second and stared at the paper while thinking. They saw the paper and ran away, it must be their fault. Nova stood up and told Raven to come fast and that’s what she did. They run back home, Raven keeps asking her why so much in a hurry but Nova just run’s. She rushed in and took her pc, she took some DNA from her arms where the guy had grabbed it. She put it in a bottle and typed on her pc, a loading screen appeared; five minutes wait.
-What are you doing? Raven asked out of breath.
-They acted too weird when they saw my dad’s death paper, it must be them.
-And what are you doing now? She said while leaning on the desk.
-Checking their DNA and where they are, before the government's death he put in everyone a little thing that if you have their DNA you can locate them. 
-Oh right I forgot about that.
-Yeah a lot of people forgot that detail. After the downloading finished Nova typed on the pc and ended up on maps where one little dot was located. While Nova was sitting on her desk chair and Raven leaning on the desk, they were smiling, proud and thinking of a way to get revenge. The house was lighted with orange lights and outside was dark like space, people were walking around with guns and knives, the plants that were still there were on the sky grade. This city was big, finding someone was hard there but possible.
