May walked up to the back of the Prison wall of her father's cell with the help of her father's goons they blew the wall up aiding his escape. "Father- Come let's get out of here-" She shouted up at Komo Hiyota the notorious mafia boss and villain Komodo dragon. It had been so many years her father was around 50 and yet still one of the most feared villains in all of Cryotion. "Indeed, let us leave quickly before they notice that the prison wall has been obliterated," Komo said to her as he had a small smile on his face. He was finally free to once again roam the streets of Cryotion and cause mayhem and destruction to the city. May had a bright smile on her face as she helped lead her father through the rubble of the blasted wall to the limo. "Come father- we must get you home and fed. I have been working on finding a way to remove the armor as well-" She spoke softly at him folding her wings to her back. "I do appreciate you helping me with such a situation. It is reassuring to know that my favorite daughter still takes the time to take care of her father" Komo said in a caring tone of voice as he stepped into the limo and sat back in the passenger seat. He then watched as she spoke about the armor that he had on. "I see well we will have to wait until we get home to discuss such matters at this time." "Father- There is so much you have missed. The hero league they were all killed. New goodie goodie heroes now have the league. Makes it difficult to steal archives. We will fix this curse and i will free you father- You will be free... and we can be happy again like we used to be." May spoke to her father as the limo was being driven to the Hiyota estate. "You are right my dear" Komo responded as his expression started to lighten up. The armor that he had on had corrupted him to a certain extent and he wanted to get rid of it. He was glad to see that she was determined to find that cure for him. The limos engine revved as they began driving to the estate. "We never found what happened to bearded dragon, looks like most the older villains moved from the city when the league reformed." May sighed softly. "We kept moms graves upkeep for you while you were away..." She frowned a bit a moment. "I had the flowers redone... so there's pretty lilacs." "That is sad to hear that the older villains have left the city and i am sure bearded dragon is currently living alone in the desert somewhere" Komo spoke in a neutral tone of voice. "I appreciate you caring for your mother's graves even through all this time it means a lot to me" He then smiled warmly at her as they continued to drive to the estate. "Do you miss...mom..." May asked curiously. Komo was silent for a moment. "I do miss her from time to time" he responded as he thought about her. She was a good wife let alone friend. May then sighed scooting to her father hugging him. Komo hugged her back not wanting to let go. She felt like a reminder of her mother, and he had not been this attached with anyone else besides the armor that he was wearing. He took a deep breath before finally letting her go and smiled warmly at her. May then sat back up straight. "We have files on the new hero league father, as for Kash Brady he hasn't been seen since fathered kings retired as an organization." "We see well then let us see them when we return to the estate. I would like to know who we are dealing with before we proceed with whatever plans we have for the future" Komo said as the limo began driving up the long driveway toward the large estate. May softly nodded as she looked out the side window of the limo as the vehicle drove through large gates that had Komodo dragon lizard stone statues. "I missed you so much father..." May looked to Komo with a bright smile. Komo smiled brightly back at her. It had been a long while since they had seen one another and being reunited had filled him with a bit of happiness. "I missed you to my dear. It is good to be reunited with each other once again" He said as the limo slowly drove up closer to their house. May assisted helping her father out of the limo inside the smaller manor passed his security. "The hero league are all gone father... they rebuilt it." May spoke as she was leading Komo into his office straight to the large computer monitors. Komo followed along closely behind her as she led him into his office. He walked over to where the monitor was and he looked at all the files that she had pulled up. It was interesting to see how much had changed. He did not have time to go through it all right now however later he would. Right now however he would just enjoy a bit of time with his daughter. "Do you think... The new hero league will be in our way just like Stinger was?" She asked worried. "They may be a possible obstacle in our way" Komo said as he sighed slightly. "But they cannot be as strong let alone collected as stinger was. Besides we were able to defeat stinger back then so these 'new' hero league members can not be that difficult to take care of" "Father, I'm unsure if escaping constantly counts as a defeat or a win. I just want you to be safe. The sooner we can get this armor off of you- the sooner you can just take it easy." She said in desperation and determination. Komo smiled softly as she spoke and he was impressed at her determination. "My dear you are right. We do need to get rid of this armor so that we can get rid of this curse. It has effected my sanity over the many years and who knows when I will be a full madman" He said as he sighed softly but he was confident that the armor would be removed soon enough. "if you feel stressed or like you are going to go berserk, please. Let me know father." She then excused herself so he could have a moment to himself in his office heading off to check on dinner plans with the chefs. The whole manor was dimly lit to keep Komo from getting a headache with the lingering scents of lavender and vanilla to help with calming and soothing effects. Komo nodded as he watched his daughter leave the room. He then sat back in his seat and closed his eyes. The fragrance of the vanilla and lavender made the room calm and relaxing. He took a deep breath but continued to have a small frown on his face. He couldn't help but stare at a photo of her mother stuck looking at it. He remembered the day they met like it was yesterday, The daughter of dragon winged flying supers. He remembers when it all started like a fairytale when the memories of the dark following after the fairytale became a nightmare when he became the mafia boss... when the armor was placed on him... how she tried to help him and save him from himself. That was before he could keep it somewhat tamed. He remembers every single moment from when he lashed out that day. Her body on the ground. The wrecked room. Komo began to tear up before he swallowed it down as he looked at the picture of his wife staring at it. He was filled with sadness and regret as he looked at the picture. All he would do to have that time back or to have the armor removed would have given him a second chance. He would not have lost what he once had. May stepped back into the room a moment softly knocking on the door frame. "Hey, father- uhm were having stew for dinner here in a bit." She spoke softly. "Sounds good my dear" Komo said as he recomposed himself before he looked up at his daughter with a faint smile on his face. He was starting to feel a bit more comfortable and relaxed despite still having some sadness within him. She exited the room softly singing a tune to herself down the hall hitting Komo with some nostalgia as he got up slowly remembering the times when life was simple. Just him, his wife... and may their sweet and loving little girl. Komo smiled at the memory of that time in his life when everything felt so simple. He then shook himself out of that thought and began to slowly walk out of his office. He stopped at the door and listened to her voice as it sounded lovely to hear her singing and he felt a bit more at ease than he was previously. May sat down in the dining room waiting for him calmly at the table with her wings folded to her back. Komo walked slowly into the dining room with a soft smile on his face. The room was nice and it felt comforting to be there. He walked to the table where he saw his daughter sitting there waiting for him. "You look lovely today my dear" Komo said as he took a seat at the table across from her. Komo walked slowly into the dining room with a soft smile on his face. The room was nice and it felt comforting to be there. He walked to the table where he saw his daughter sitting there waiting for him. "You look lovely today my dear" Komo said as he took a seat at the table across from her. "You look presentable as usual father." She responded as the chef was bringing out the bowls to stew and bred rolls. "Indeed, I do try to keep up my appearance around you my dear" Komo said with a small chuckle. The chefs then set the food down on the table and it all smelled wonderful. "Smells amazing!" She exclaimed gratefully as she ate her meal. Komo also began eating the meal and it did indeed taste good. "You are certainly right. The chef did a wonderful job with the food" he said between bites of the meal. "Father... do you think after we get the armor off we could go to the beach like you did when i was little." May asked softly. Komo smiled warmly at her as he ate. The thought made him nostalgic to when she was at that age, and she was so small. "We will be getting the armor off very soon and after we do I think it would be good for us to take a vacation to the beach. It will be just like old times my dear" he said as he continued to eat his food. She smiled warmly eating at her plate glancing to check on her father every so often. Komo did not talk much as they were both eating. He was enjoying the food and he felt like this was just the beginning of many more things to come for him and his daughter. Once they were both done, he sat his silverware down and wiped the corner of his mouth with a napkin. "So about things you missed since you have been in prison." May started as one of the chefs came and took the dishes bringing out two plates of flan to the table for dessert. "The old hero league. Captain Stinger, Canopy, Bitz, and Puncture are all dead... Hercules is the leader of the new hero league." She spoke calming aiming to keep her father relaxed as she filled him in. "Interesting so Captain Stinger actually passed away that was unexpected" Komo says as he takes a spoonful of the flan and eats it. "Do you think Hercules could be a difficult opponent or will he be a simple and easy foe to kill just as the rest? The new hero league seems rather weak compared to what the prior league was." "I would prefer if we kept being safer hunting for the solution to the armors curse father-" she said worried. "Rumor is out the feathered kings all departed and retired. Kash brady himself left Cryotion from what i heard. His son is now in the new hero league and these heroes seem to be trying to be legit." Komo sighed softly as she told him the news. "I guess it would be for the best if we waited. But who knows maybe Hercules might pose a threat to us." He says as he takes another spoonful of the flan. "Well, the feather kings retiring is not surprising, but it is surprising that Kash Brady himself has left as well. Do you believe his son could be as dangerous as he is?" He asked curiously. "I'm unsure, haven't encountered them yet- the other members... worry me however- Lucious Brice... The hero Citral is the son of Luciano Brice- The former hero zipline." She stated. "Then there is Nathaniel gray the hero Pidge, Fue Garnier the hero Butane." "Hmm these new heroes seem rather interesting to say the least" Komo says as he thinks over some of the names that she said. "I guess it would not be a good idea to underestimate them as there is always the chance that just because they are new does not mean that they are weak. It may be best to keep a watchful eye on them" He said as he took another spoonful of the flan before he continued. "Do any of them have powers worth mentioning?" She ate a spoon full of flan herself before answering him. "Citral has powers like his father, Fue has flame breath kids a walking lighter." Komo nodded as he listened to what she was saying. "Interesting a bit more firepower than before but not much that has changed" he said "How about this Nathaniel....Pidge, are their powers something that could be potentially dangerous?" He asked her. "He has wings and can fly like Roman... Kash's son, The hero Copper Knight. Wears armor used to go by Red Wing guess when his dad said in an interview it was dorky he changed it-" she responded. Komo laughed a bit. "Red Wing- copper knight- it is quite a step up in name's I will give him that. But the fact that he has wings and can fly is a bit worrisome because it means that he could possibly use ranged attacks with minimal difficulty. His armor may make him tough to crack though so that would be a good thing for us" He says as his mind was already analyzing the potential threat that Nathaniel grey could pose. "I heard Roman was trained by Von allen himself... And his father- Even can sonic boom and everything." She said worried. Komo is surprised by this information. "Roman was trained by Von Allen himself? That is extremely impressive that von would be interested in training him. And for him to be able to sonic boom well that could prove tricky if we run into him" he said as he was taking his time with the flans making sure to enjoy every bite of it. She nodded softly enjoying her dessert Aswell with a soft smile. Komo finished the flans after a few more Spoonfuls. "I have to say my dear this may be the best desert I've had in some time" he says as he pushes his plate away with a satisfying sigh. "I guess we should not take these new heroes lightly that they may try to become threats to us or at least annoy us. How is the hero league doing anyway are they as organized as stinger and his band of idiots was?" "They seem to follow a similar system Von had with Feathered Kings. I have been working on research for the armor piece as well while you have been gone-" She stated grinning. "That is good news my dear" He smiles warmly at her. "That might be useful to know that they are operating in a similar fashion. And you have been working on the armor piece my dear. That is wonderful. Have you learned anything new?" He asks curiously. She nodded softly pulling an iPad out showing him some images of old transcripts. "These were found recently in grandads' old home. They have sketching's of the armor-" Komo looked at the transcripts with keen interest. He was curious to see the details of the armor to see if it could shed some light on how they could remove it. "That is interesting to say the least. I hope the transcripts can be a great help in figuring out how to remove this armor and to free me of this curse. I still cannot believe that it has been many years and I have not managed to remove it, but it has not dampened my spirit in working towards freeing myself from this curse" He said as he smiled down at his daughter. "Mother would be proud of us..." may said warmly as she finished her flan. "That she would indeed my dear" Komo said with a soft smile as he also finished his own dessert. "You have been a great help in all of this. It has been nice to see that you have been carrying the torch of our family in search of the truth behind this armor." May nodded softly. "I think if we translate and decode this transcript it will tell us what to do-" "I agree my dear. I believe that it is time we take the next step in finding a way to remove this accursed armor and to free me from this curse" he says with a soft smile. "Let us start with getting the transcript translated then we can see what we can do from there." She agreed following him out of the dining room as staff were cleaning up heading with him off into the office. Komo and his daughter both entered the office together and he would sit down at his desk with his daughter sitting next to him. "Alright my dear it is time to work together to see if we can figure out what the next steps could be towards removing the armor. Let's begin with the transcript" he says as he looks over at her and gives her a look of anticipation for what they would find. She sat at his side as they worked for hours eventually finding a way to get somewhere. "A ritual at a healing spring-" She spoke curiously. "Interesting that there is a ritual at a healing spring- that could potentially hold the key for removing the armor. Where is this spring located?" Komo asked curious as well about the potential progress they would be making. "East of Cryotion looks like out near the snowier areas of the city-" she stated. "Ahh so east of the city... we would probably have to travel for some time if we were to reach this spring" Komo said as he thought it over. "There might be several obstacles to get through but if it is for the sake of freeing me, we must do what is necessary" he said as he took a quick look over at her to make sure that she was on board with the plan. "Shall we head out in the morning father?" she asked curiously as he was pulling a map up on his laptop. "Indeed, my dear we shall. The time has come for us to attempt this ritual. We will travel in the morning to reach this spring and we shall free me from this curse" he says with a soft smile. "It is time that we do something to get closer to freeing me and this has provided us with a good lead to follow." May nodded warmly leaving off to her room. "Rest easy father." Komo would nod as he watched her disappear into her room before he himself would get up and leave the office to go to his room also. He would enter his room and he would spend some time quietly looking at the transcript images and thinking to himself. For once he actually felt like there was progress being made and hope rose within him that soon he could be free. His eyes glanced up at the framed image of his departed wife Zivel... Her white hair... those soft eyes- and her wings large and powerful and yet she was so soft and kind. His heart ached a moment. "Soon... I will be free from this like you...we wanted-" He spoke at the photo. He looks up at the photo and he spoke. "Soon indeed, we wanted to enjoy a peaceful life without fear of being hunted down by other heroes or villains. We just wanted peace and I remember that well" he says a small sad smile crossed his face as he thought of the time he had with his lost love and daughter. Komo would take a small final look at the picture of his late wife and then he would head to his room. He headed to the bed and laying down to rest. As he tried to sleep the images of her final moments haunted him like a movie and it was something that he could not get out of his head. The scream of his wife...The cry of his daughter...The horror of the curse....It was all there in vivid detail and he could not shake it. "Please Komo stop this" that phrase repeated on repeat in his mind as he tried his best to fight it but he could not succeed in escaping the memories. The memories haunted Komo's mind even in his sleep and he would twitch violently as if he was reliving the moment of pure terror and horror. His heart racing his body shaking and his mouth forming soundless screams. It was a nightmare that he could not escape from. The phrase of "please Komo stop this" kept going off in his mind as he tried to push the memories away only to fail and suffer. It was the nightmare that he could not wake up from. Komo sat up and he was panting sharply his body shaking as he was still caught up in the nightmare. His body was trembling as the light slowly shone through the curtains. His eyes snapped open, and he looked around before noticing his daughter had waked him up. He looked over at her with tears still lingering in his eyes, he had not quite recovered from the terror of the nightmare. "Father, are you okay?" May asked worried at him. Komo was caught off guard for a moment by his daughter's concern for him. He looked up at her with a soft smile as he slowly recovered from the nightmare. "I'm alright my dear, that was just a terrible nightmare. It just caught me off guard that is all" he said quietly his voice still shaking but his voice carried a hint of reassurance. "I have everything ready to go to head out father, are you certain you are alright?" She questioned. Komo took a moment to consider his daughters words. He would take in a deep breath, and he thought his mind over for a moment. He nodded softly at his daughter "I am alright my dear. It is just that nightmare really got to me is all but I shall be fine" he said trying to reassure her but also trying to reassure himself. May nodded firmly then headed out the room down the hallway to get her armor on. Komo would try and wipe away any lingering tears from his eyes and he took a deep breath. He would lay back down and try to collect himself now that the nightmare had passed. He would remain there trying to shake off the residual effects of the nightmare. He would take a quick glance out the window noticing the sun rising and the light filling his room gradually, he took another deep breath. May stood outside in the main courtyard awaiting her father so they can head out for the eastern side of Cryotion. Komo would take another minute or two to lay there before he would slowly get up and head out to the main courtyard where he noticed his daughter waiting for him ready to leave. He would join her out there and he would look over at her as he approached her. "I am ready to leave my dear" he says with a soft smile as he nods. "I did research this morning about the ritual, you will have to sit in the spring itself holding burning fire was what the transcript said so i have some ideas i plan to try." May stated proud of herself as they got into the larger military issue truck with a personal driver driving. "It sounds like you did good work my dear. You never fail to impress me with your dedication and I'm sure that your ideas will help us find the solution to get me free of this armor." He said with a proud and comforting smile as they got into the truck and he looked up at the personal driver. "Alright let us go now. We shall reach the spring before long and we shall free me no matter what it takes" He said in a confident and reassuring way. May sat beside her father in the back. "Let's hope those hero dorks don't assume we are doing anything wrong this time-" She groaned softly. Komo was also quite concerned about the potential of hero interjection as well but he kept a level head as he spoke to his daughter. "If it comes to that we will deal with them if needed. We cannot let them keep us from finding a way to free me from this cursed armor" He said calmly as he looked over at the driver to make sure he was going in the right direction. "Agreed, I don't mind helping father. Whatever it takes- we have made it so far-" She nodded softly. "We have indeed made it this far. It has not been an easy journey but each step we take brings us closer to a solution. The ritual at the spring might be the key to freeing me from this cursed armor so our task is not an easy one but it is one that must be done" he says with a reassuring smile as the truck drives off towards the east side as the sun rose over the horizon. May kept watching out the windows of the vehicle as it moved keeping a keen eye for Copper Knight or Pidge knowing they likely did flight patrols. Komo was also keeping an eye out for any heroes as they travelled towards the east side of the city. He was keeping a keen eye on the skies for any sign of flight patrols from the heroes. "We must be careful my dear. Last thing we want is for some heroes to get in our way and stop us from freeing me from this cursed armor" he said with a calm and reassuring yet firm tone. "Understood father." She nodded firmly as the truck continued to move through the more forested areas of Cryotion as it softly flurried. "As we enter these forested areas we should keep a close eye on the trees around us for any heroes could be lurking about." Komo said with a concerned tone. Even though they had not seen any heroes so far he also knew that they could not let their guard down and had to be cautious. "Right-" She nodded in confirmation the driver halting the truck all of a sudden harshly as Nathaniel gray himself, Pidge landed down blocking the roads pathway seeming to be alone. "Damn-" May hissed softly getting out the truck stepping forward at pidge slowly. "Excuse me. I have the right of passage-" Komo noticed that Pidge had arrived and he stepped forwards to join May as she confronted the hero. Komo would stand right beside May and he would observe the situation and he would say a quick silent prayer of hope that the hero would let them pass without any trouble. He would try his best to remain calm but his hand was clenched into a tight fist as he looked at the hero. "Father please- stay at the truck i have this-" May begged softly. "Listen i don't think Herc would like to see Komodo dragon himself loose. Listen your pretty- gorgeous even- But your father is a villain." Pidge ignorantly stated before taking a solid slap from May. "Do not talk about my father in such a way- You know nothing. All of you hero leagues are the same. Assholes with glorified titles." May huffed crossing her arms.  Komo was actually impressed by his daughters quick and confident response. He did not interrupt, and he remained silent as he gave his daughter a proud look out the corner of his eye. He had to fight the urge to try and get involved but he also knew that he was not needed in this situation and May could handle it. Pidge stood speechless a moment rapidly blinking touching his cheek. "Ow- You hit me-!?" he fussed. "I will again if you don't go away-" May snapped annoyed. "Look why are you even out here anyway on the east side, don't you guys stay over in the southern side." Pidge questioned crossing his arms. "We do. You don't deserve to know okay- Mind your business." May huffed. Komo would watch the exchange between the hero and his daughter with pride in his heart. He liked to see his daughter so confident and standing up to the hero like this. He let her take the lead in this situation as he knew she would do her best to protect him and his identity. "My daughter is right. You only need to know that you are blocking our passage, and you must let us pass" He said in a firm confident tone as he stepped alongside May. Pidge smirked a bit a moment putting his hands up. "You know what- fine yeah- go right ahead princess-" He stepped out of the way softly snickering at May as she flipped him off rolling her eyes groaning with sass. Komo noticed how Pidge had tried to be suave, but his daughter had seen right through the hero and had not taken any insult to it. She had brushed it off and she had gotten the hero out of their way which was all that mattered. He noticed her flipping off the hero and he would give her a small nod of approval. "Now don't be like that-" Pidge gasped dramatically before getting serious rubbing his neck. "Just uh... Be safe- okay-" Pidge shrugged as May got into the truck giving a soft nod at pidge. Komo smiled a little and he would chuckle softly as Pidge reacted by rubbing his neck. There was something amusing about how the hero had handled his daughter's sass and attitude. "We will be safe but just know that if any heroes get in our way, we shall not hesitate to handle things however we must to free me" Komo said with a confident and determined tone as he got into the truck and sat down next to his daughter. "Don't threaten me with a good time- ahah- ah only joking-" Pidge snickered softly before giving a playful wave at May. "Bye bye princess-" Pidge gave a charmed smile that made May raise an eyebrow before giggling as the truck drove off. Komo was just starting to get a read on Pidge, and he had to admit that the hero was amusing. Komo noticed how he seemed to try and charm his daughter and he had to admit the hero did have some charm to him as he was able to keep up with May's sass and attitude. He would chuckle softly as the hero waved goodbye to May. "He is not too bad for a hero" he says quietly beside her. "He is annoying-" May rolled her eyes softly grinning. Komo smiled and let out a chuckle "Yes he is a bit annoying, but he seems to be able to keep up with your sass and attitude, so I have to admit he is somewhat amusing, and I think he is also quite charming in a way" He teased her with a smirk. As the truck continued down the road May couldn't help noticing the silhouette over the truck. She then peeked out the window up at Pidge flying over following them softly humming to himself. "What are you doing?!" May shouted up at him for him to reply. "Didn't want you to go." Pidge stated as he landed down gently when the truck pulled up to a very old ran down looking cottage. Komo notices Pidge following the truck as they travel towards the very run down looking cottage but he would not say anything yet as he wants to see what is going to happen. He is a little curious as to why the hero is following their truck to this very old looking cottage but he will let May engage him first. May groaned getting out the truck trying to focus on the mission at hand walking up at pidge annoyed throwing small rocks at him. "Go away! shew- bird brain!" May huffed as Pidge just laughed ducking and dodging the rocks. Pidge clearly found May's attempts to hit him with rocks amusing and he would chuckle softly while he continued to dodge the rocks. He was seemingly going to keep following May around until she decided she would just have to deal with him being there. Komo also noticed how Pidge was ducking and dodging the rocks and he did find it a little bit amusing as well. "I just want to hang out-" Pidge grinned widely snickering as he followed May who ignored him the best she could walking up to the cottage. Komo was enjoying just watching Pidge try to engage with his daughter and seeing how she was trying her best to ignore him. He thought it was funny to see that he had gotten a reaction from her and he was curious if she was going to cave and start talking to him. Pidge sighed softly as May was leading them through the old cottage. "The spring should be located in the backyard." She stated walking for the back door when Pidge pulled her to him before some of the rotted roofing almost hit her. "Hey! what did you do that for?!" May asked angrily but he would pull her back in time and would notice that she was about to get hit by the rotting roofing. Komo stood by her side watching as a proud and protective father would watch over his daughter. Pidge stared up at the roof. "It isn't stable. This place has been abandoned for years- i was helping-" Pidge let go awkwardly stepping aside opening the back door. "Ok thank you i guess" May says softly as she steps into the backyard looking around with a serious look on her face but also holding in her laughter so as to not seem too grateful at his help. Komo would follow behind his daughter making sure that she was safe. He felt that it was a good thing that Pigeon brought her attention to the unstable roofing so as to not get her injured but he was still very wary and observant of what the hero was doing. Pidge ruffled his grey hair curiously at the stream. "So uh what now-" He asked as May told him to hush up. "This is the stream that we must follow so that we can locate the spring where the ritual can be performed" she states with a serious voice as she points at the stream that runs into the yard. "Let us get going already so as to speed up the process." She says in a hushed and determined tone. "Right- lead the way princess." pidge followed behind her beside Komo looking to him curiously. "supp..." He awkwardly said. Komo could clearly tell that the hero was just trying to be flirty and charming towards his daughter and he would give him a small yet sharp look as he saw how he was trying to talk with her. "Please do not call my daughter 'princess' as she does not like that" he states firmly with an icy yet polite tone. He wants to make sure the hero does not get too comfortable with her. "Right- Sorry-" Pidge got eye wide and awkward stuffing his hands in his pockets. Komo nodded a little before looking away and not saying anything more. "May I recommend that you stop trying to flirt with my daughter as I am not going to allow that" he stated in a warning tone in hopes that boy would realize that he is not going to be able to charm his way past him or get away with flirting with her. "Apologies there boss, I have no intent to hurt her if that's what you mean." Pidge nodded softly. "I'm Nathaniel gray- you know me as pidge but its Nathaniel." Nathaniel smiled using one of his wings to move some branches aside. Komo noticed the shift in how Nathaniel was interacting with May after he told him off to not flirt with her and he could tell that Nathaniel was trying to be respectful and polite towards him. He also noticed that Nathaniel had tried to introduce himself with a different name. "Ok Nathaniel... Just try to keep respectful towards her." Komo warned him as May walked ahead of them following the stream. Nathaniel grinned brightly nodding as they paused at a small spring lake. "Whoa... this place is super pretty-" He muttered. Komo had to admit that the place did look pretty but he did not let himself get distracted by that as he was too focused on watching over May and ensuring that nothing happened to her. "Yes, it is a pretty place but we must focus on the task at hand" he stated as he looked at Nathaniel waiting for him to get back on track with what he had to do. May then turned to her father gesturing for his hands walking him into the spring slowly. "Be useful Nathaniel and hand me a bundle of kindling." she asked at Nathaniel who started to hunt around for what she requested for handing over some smaller sticks and twigs. Komo would follow along as she was guiding him into the spring, and he did not complain. He would stay silent as he waited for Nathaniel to give her the kindling and as Nathaniel did he was surprised that May did ask him to gather it for her instead of asking her father. Komo would watch the ritual with intrigue as he saw how his daughter began the ritual and how Nathaniel seemed fascination and curious about it all. He was impressed with his daughter's skill and ability to perform the ritual and how she seemed to be taking it quite seriously. Komo would remain silent as he was enjoying the sight of his daughter performing the ritual and he knew that she would do her best to make sure everything went smoothly as she was always quite focused. May proceeded to do as the translations of the transcript instructed igniting the kindling to aflame softly whispering some unintelligible words with her hands together like she was praying with her eyes closed. Komo could feel the armor start to give off a stinging sensation almost tingling. "The armor is reacting to the flames from the kindling." Komo's voice cut through the silence as he spoke quietly and calmly as he watched his daughter performing the ritual. He felt the tingling sensation from his armor, and he knew this was a good sign that the ritual was working. She kept focus whispering repeatedly the words over and over again the flame from the kindling erupting up a bit as the armor started glowing a dark purple Ish coloration. Komo was impressed with how focused his daughter was to repeat the words and get the ritual done properly. The armor glowing a dark purple was a very good sign that the ritual was working correctly. "The armor's reaction to the flames is a good sign that the ritual is going in our favor" he stated sounding proud of his daughter's work. Nathaniel watched from the side in awe and fascination as parts of the armor started to crack spilling down the chest plate. May continued then opened her eyes instantly cupping her hand over her father's nose and mouth dunking him backwards into the water the chest plate breaking off freeing him. Komo was caught off guard when his daughter suddenly dunked him backwards into the water and the chest plate cracked off freeing him. As his head surfaced back to the surface he coughed up water and he took a deep breath before looking at May with a surprised look on his face. She stared at him checking if he was okay right as Nathaniel stepped over checking Aswell. "How do you feel- is the headache there-" May started questioning. "Yeah...I feel fine" Komo stated as he tried to wipe the water from his face before he realized the Chest plate was gone. He felt a slight headache, but it was not as bad as it could have been. He was not sure why his daughter was so concerned. "Yeah... I'm fine" he said more firmly after thinking about how his head did hurt a little after being dunked in water, but he was sure he was fine. "Father- the armor- the chest plate-" May stuttered with her eyes watering. "What's wrong?" Komo stares at May and he can see how her eyes are watering and she is looking like she is about to cry. He thought everything was fine and that the ritual had been successful but now he was unsure on what to make of her reaction. "Is everything alright?" he asked her in a serious and concerned tone. She ran forward hugging into him tightly. They weren't sad tears... no they were much more... "I haven't felt one of your hugs properly since i- i- was little-" She softly mumbled out. Nathaniel stood aside watching with a soft grin on his face before stepping off to give them some privacy as he started calling Hercules on his cellphone. "Come on Herc... pick up..." He muttered. Komo was caught a little off guard by his daughter running forward and hugging him tightly. He had not expected this sudden burst of emotions to arise from her as he was only concerned about the ritual going well and about her being hurt but now, she was suddenly hugging him and the last time she had given him a hug like this was when she was a young child. He hugged her back tightly as he felt a sense of pride and a lump started to form inside his throat like he was about to tear up. Nathaniel grinned brightly when i heard Hercules pick up the phone. "Here to report my patrol... Komo Hiyota... He isn't a threat anymore... i don't think we will ever see Komodo dragon the villain ever again." "Are you sure?" Hercules questioned through the phone hesitant. "Guess we never really investigated deeper into it but the short version is... He is free from some cursed armor. His daughter seems to have it under control." Nathaniel spoke sincerely. "Ok... i will have to check in on this more but for now just let me know if anything changes from now on" Hercules states finally satisfied. "I will take full responsibility." Nathaniel smiled as he ended the call turning to see Komo stepping to him seeming to have overheard the call while he was drying his hair. Nathaniel turned looking to Komo. "It was a delight to have met you. No worries- the league won't be bothering you, i might come check on you two every so often. Please... be safe." Nathaniel spoke calmly before winking at may. Komo had heard Hercules' call and he turned to face Nathaniel. He was relieved to hear that they would not bother him and May but he still felt a little bit uneasy over how Nathaniel had winked at May and how he was going to keep his eye on them in the future. "Thank you that is reassuring to hear and i will do my best to ensure my daughter's safety" Komo speaks calmly back to him as he watches May try and calm down from her sudden burst of emotional hugs. Nathaniel stepped to may awkwardly a moment. "So- i guess i should get going now... Congrats... and uhm I'm really happy for you." May had managed to calm down after the rush of emotions from her sudden hug but she still felt a little awkward as she stared at Nathaniel. She had noticed his awkward mannerism, and she could tell he was a little uncomfortable and awkward with her. The fact that he had helped her with the ritual made her feel more respectful towards him though. "Could- i get your number?" He just let it slip out rubbing at his hair. May felt a sudden sense of surprise when Nathaniel suddenly asked her for her number and she felt her chest heat up as her cheeks flushed red and she stared at him with a little shock showing on her face but she quickly tried to hide it and regained her composure a little. "Oh- my phone number?" she asked not sure why he would want it. "You know to check in and stuff- or like... i don't know- if you need a hero?" Nathaniel laughed giving a stupid cheeky grin. "Oh yeah of course that's why you want my phone number" May states with a chuckle as she tried to hide the fact that she was still blushing a bit. She realized that he had not asked for it in a malicious or perverted way so she decided she would give it to him. "Ok then but this is just to keep in touch. Yeah that is fine." She smiled at him as she got her phone out and gave him her phone number. His eyes lit up instantly pulling his phone out nodding happily as they were exchanging numbers. "Sweet- i will totally hit you up sometime- maybe we could go to the mall sometime." Nathaniel nervously laughed before gulping when Komo firmly coughed to remind Nathaniel he was still present. "Right- aha i will be going now- later pri-" Nathaniel then caught himself about to use the nickname again before remembering what Komo said. "Later- May-" He nodded correcting himself flying off as May and Komo stepped to the trail. May was still slightly blushing as she watched Nathaniel flying off before she looked up to see her father looking at her again. She noticed the slight hint of annoyance that was showing on her father's face and she felt a little embarrassed that she had been so easily flustered by Nathaniel in front of her father. "He seems a little bit interested in you you know" her father states firmly with a frown on his face as if he was not happy about it which made her want to blush even more. "Well, he is a dirty sky pigeon- humph." She sassily remarked. "Now about that beach vacation promise-" May smiled playfully. "Dirty sky pigeon huh?" Komo couldn't help but let out a light chuckle from the comment. The fact that his daughter had quickly gone from blushing at Nathaniel's comment to being playful after it was kind of cute, but he wasn't sure if it was just a cover up to hide the fact she was blushing. "Yeah yeah i know i promised we would go on a little beach vacation and this time we will definitely go" Komo replied back to her giving her a teasing smirk as they kept walking along the trail.
