Thats My Girlfriend

Allison's POV

            Waking up to an empty bed instead of one with a certain person, it was sad. Rhea left early this morning, letting me sleep in before I had to go into work myself. I extended my hand out to where she once laid as I already missed her being here. 
  

        I rolled over to see a very snuggled up and cute Barry boy laying close to me. "Good morning baby boy." Kissing his face and stroking my hands over his fur as he groaned. " Just like your mum, you hate mornings." 

 I reached over to my phone, seeing that Rhea texted me a few times and of course so did Mark.

"Mami ~  *0630* Good Morning baby, I didn't want to wake you up when I left so I'm sorry I didn't say a proper goodbye. But I left some coffee in the pot for you and I stole one of your yeti tumblers.  You look so beautiful when you sleep, you know that. Also I left you my spare key to my house, it's already on your keychain. My house is now yours. I hope you have a good day Koala. I'll see you when I get back."

"Mami~ *0945* You are the talk of the century lol. Damien can't wait to meet you and is asking me all kinds of questions. He truly is something else. I'll call you when I land my love, I miss you already."
   

I smiled reading her messages as she is just the sweetest woman alive to me. My mom would be so happy to see me back together with Demi, as she always loved and adored her. "Come on Barry, let's grab Luna and go for a walk."  He instantly perked up and booked it off the bed.

     I changed into something comfortable but my eyes locked on the black duffle bag sitting in my closet. I kneeled down, opening it up as I saw a handwritten note laying on some clothes. 

"    I know that you love to wear my clothes all the time so here are some of my merch and hoodies. Yes, I have sprayed them with your favorite cologne."
 

     I rolled my eyes at her comment but my heart swelled as she remembered how much I love to wear her things. I grabbed one of the shirts and threw it over my tank top, heading downstairs to see both dogs on the couch. 

" Come on you two." I grabbed their leashes , opening my garage door as we started to walk down the street.   " morning walks."  Taking a cute picture of them as Barry walked in front and Luna behind him, I tagged Rhea as well.
      

The morning went faster than I could get ready for the day, as I showered quickly, changed and ran down the stairs. I grabbed my keys from the key rack, and my stanley cup. I kissed the dogs goodbye before I ran out the door.
     

     The hospital wasn't far from my house but I still couldn't afford to be late as a new hire. Finally making it to my office, I set everything down, putting on my white lab coat. I looked at my phone as I still haven't heard anything from Rhea yet, I wasn't worried too much about it. She was a busy person, she'll text me or call me when she has a moment.  

    I still had an hour before the surgery, which was perfect for me to prepare my patient. I grabbed the file and my phone, making sure I had everything when there was a knock on the door. 

" Allison, great, I caught you before surgery."  

Mark stood at my doorway as I stared at him with an unamused face. " What can I help you with, Dr. Thomas?" He walked in further, closing the door behind him. 

" Look, I'm not a guy that likes to chase after a person, but I'm trying here with you. I feel like you haven't even given me the time of day. I have been nothing but welcoming and trying to make a great impression on you."
