(Scarlet's POV)
Dreaming peacefully before i am woken up soaking wet
"What the fuck?!" I yell rolling off my bed in the process
"Hey, get up ya lazy cow, you have training today" Kaoru says laughing before running away
"That little, Get back here!" I yell chasing her
Later after breakfast
We are at Kamiya Dojo, I am training fiercely against my friend Taikumi, I see Kenshin walk in slowly observing us with a smile. I manage to back Taikumi in a corner with our swords crossed and our gazes intense before I break it and sweep her making her fall with my sword to her neck
"I win" I say smugly
She grumbles
"Some bullshit" she says taking my hand that I held out for her to get up
"Its ok Taiku, you'll beat me some day" I wink at her, making her chuckle with a scoff
"Yeah right, as if I'd ever beat the Black Mist"
I sigh "I told you Taiku, I don't go by that name anymore, I'm just Scarlet Yusaki now"
She nods "I know, still find it cool tho" she grins
I roll my eyes "Ya dork"
"You love meee" she coos squishing my cheeks
"Hey!"
We hear Kenshin chuckling and turn towards him
"Please, don't stop on my behave, seems yall finally getting along now" he smiles
Me and Taikumi look at each other and smile
"Guess so"
(Let me just gone head and tell ya the story on that, when I first arrived at Tokyo and took resident with Kaoru when Kenshin introduced us, I met Yokasa Taikumi, a fierce former female samurai who doesn't take well to unknown people, especially one's who are considered demons or devil legends known to cause nothing but chaos and death where they go. So our first meeting wasn't to great, we almost killed each other but luckily we had people there to stop us, since then we had a rival, she wanted me gone and I wanted her dead, but eventually as you can see, we have put aside our differences and have learned to work aside each other. We finally got to have a decent conversation that didn't end with insults and death threats, we became friends, the best of friends. We spare almost everyday to grow stronger in our skills in combat. Anyway back to the story)

He immediately drops the smile and looks irritated
"Scar, what have I told you about calling me that, it's weird"
"When was I ever one to follow rules, Kenny" I grin
