𝗝𝗔𝗬𝗗𝗔 𝗛𝗨𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗗 𝗔𝗦 𝗦𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗪 𝗜𝗥𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗗, looking down at her phone as she watched the time waiting for the minute to pass and quickly become 10:35 so she can get out of this meeting with her father and the rest of the feds. She felt as if she had a long time from then since it was currently 10:12 AM.
"Jayda! Are you even listening?" Her father tapped her, shaking her head yes as she got out of her daze, everyone's attention was now on her. If she was being completely honest, she hadn't been listening since the first time they stepped in this room, and that was at 8:50 AM.
"So, will you take the mission ?" The detective Eva asked, shaking her no since she knew that they were going to explain why she should take the mission. Therefor she would actually listen to know what the mission is.
"Jayd- With all respect Miss Cheaves, there is a serial killer out on the loose. Over 15 murders have happened just in this past week, and its the beginning of the week. There are murders even outside of Atlanta that can reach up to the thousands and is connected to our guy for all we know, you can be his next victim. ALL OF US IN HERE CAN" Eva cut her father off.
"With him being an ACTIVE serial killer, you want me to sit in his face, gain a relationship with him. Get info on him and prove hes the murderer for all of this?" Jayda questioned furrowing her eyebrows together as everyone looked and nodded.
"See that's a no. Now what if i say something or do something he doesn't like? Then he kills me and then what, it's not my job to help THE FEDS and POLICE catch him and put my life at risk, it's a no." She said shrugging.
"Miss Cheaves if you want 24 hour security or bodyga- All they have to do is look away for one second and I can be dead and captured! He's a serial killer who obviously knows his shit and stays on-top of it, and that's something y'all don't do so then y'all have to bring in the big man daughter" She spoke bouncing her leg up and down.
"He's going to know when somethings is up especially when after every murder he get's taken in for questioned for the first time since I would be around him. I would be putting myself in danger just by one encounter with him ! " Jayda ranted.
