As the pulse of the party thumped through the air, Lexa leaned against the wall after having a few drinks, her emerald eyes following Clarke's every move from across the room. "Hey, Griffin," Lexa called out, playfully slapping her best friend Anya's shoulder. "Watch this."

Anya rolled her eyes, amused. "You're not going to do something stupid, are you, Woods?"

Before Lexa could answer, she strode over to Clarke, tossing her famous Woods smirk. "Hey, princess. Having fun?"

Clarke raised an eyebrow, unimpressed. "Not interested, Lexa." And simply turned the other way around about to leave.

"Hey, wait," Lexa caught her arm before she could leave. "I just wanted to thank you for what you did on the field. Really.. thanks. I needed that," she said with sincerity in her voice. Wow, she was so different with her than with everyone else. She could be such a pup sometimes.

Clarke looked up at those shining emerald eyes. "It was nothing, really. Can't have the big bad commander losing now, can we?" she answered teasingly.

"Hmm, no, we don't. But I gotta say, impressive routine today, kind of turned me on" Lexa replied with that stupid smug face. (God, she could be so cocky sometimes, going from sweet innocent pup to hey, wanna fuck?)

Clarke, her blue eyes sparking with mischief, shot back, "Save the flattery, Woods, it won't get you anywhere."

Lexa's chuckle echoed through the room. "But it was so Hot, you cheering for me after I won, like I said, impressive" she teased.

Clarke just rolled her eyes at the cocky alpha.

But Lexa didn't give up. "I scored four touchdowns today. Doesn't that impress you?"

"Nope," Clarke answered, watching Lexa huff in annoyance.

"Not even a little?" Lexa asked, tilting her head to the side, reminding Clarke of a cute, lost puppy.

Clarke's lips twitched in amusement. "Hmm, maybe a little," she answered, enjoying the way she could get into the Alpha's head and playfully mess with her. Clarke shook her head, smiling at the thought, but before she could continue teasing, Raven chose that exact moment to pull Clarke away, insisting that she needed to get drunk or at least have a few shots with her and Octavia. 'celebrate'

She was on the verge of objecting and refusing, but Raven completely disregarded her and dragged her away from her Alpha... Wait, what?! Her Alpha?! No way! Lexa was just her friend, yup, her good friend Lexa, whom she definitely didn't have a crush on for as long as she could remember. The Alpha whom she would openly flirt with, but lacked the courage to take it any further, so they joked around as if it was all just playful banter. But of course, Clarke meant every word she said, even though she tried to play it off. Of course, she didn't like Lexa like that, did she? much less consider her as 'her Alpha'

So, she let Raven pull her away, hoping to clear her head a bit. She drank a shot with Raven and Octavia, but her thoughts still lingered on Lexa.

Clarke shook her head, trying to dispel her confusing feelings (hell, she knows she's whipped). She couldn't deny the way Lexa smelled, or the softness and care in her voice when she said Clarke's name, how her Omega got jealous at the thought of Lexa with someone else and she knew that Lexa had a soft spot for her, which made it all the more complicated.

"Ugh, this is giving me a headache," Clarke muttered under her breath as her head spun a bit. She needed to sort out her thoughts and feelings, but she didn't know where to start.
As Raven pulled Clarke away, Lexa watched with a mix of disappointment and curiosity. She couldn't help but wonder what Raven had in store for her "friend," although she knew that anything involving Raven and alcohol didn't mix well.
