Not All Pranks Are Funny (Miraculous Ladybug, Marc Story)

Soap

Nathaniel was resting on the couch while Alix got up to use the bathroom. Both heard the sound of foot steps coming down the stairs and looked to see who was coming down.

"Oh your awake" Sabrina said, "How are you feeling?", she asked
"He's fine" Alix answered for him
"Yeah I'm good, how's-"
"Let me get you some milk" Sabrina said cutting off Nathaniel.
Both Nathaniel and Alix stared at her with confusion.
"Is milk after a pass out a medical thing we don't know about?" Alix asked as Sabrina made her way to the kitchen.
"Nope!" Sabrina called out, "It's just, whenever I wake up from a deep sleep, a nice cold glass of milk wakes me right up!"
Nath and Alix stared at each other with an 'okaaay' expression, then Alix left to use the bathroom.

Nathaniel sat up, thinking about how his boyfriend, ex boyfriend, sorry. Was hibernating in shame thanks to that no good, selfish, oval headed jerk!

He put his feet on the ground and tried to stand up, and he did, for a second. Then plopped back down on the couch. Even though he was awake, his legs were asleep with that tingling feeling you get when theres no blood flow for a while.

Sabrina came back with a glass of milk at the same time Alix came out of the bathroom.

"Okay, I don't know what soap is anymore. The stuff in there was so good! Although my hands smell like wood now", Alix said as she smiffed her hands.

"He, yeah" Nathaniel said as he took the glass from Sabrina, "Marc told me about the time he and his family went to Palestine. One of the things he did there was Camel riding, and they ended up getting this weird Camel soap thing thats supposed to soften and nourish you skin an-".

"Wait wait wait" Alix said extending her hands as if to stop traffic, "I have camel soap on me"
"They make camel soap?" Sabrina asked in shock.

"That was my reaction!", Nathaniel perked up pointing his finger at Sabrina. "Remeber when I started breaking out before winter break"

"HA!" Alix laughed, "Yeah, you looked like you had chicken pocks!"

"Yeah, anyways" Nathaniel eyerolled, "Marc noticed and gave me a bar of soap written in Arabic, I couldn't read it but it had a silhouette of a camel on it. So I thought that was like the companies logo".

"What kind of company has a logo of a camel?" Sabrina asked.

"What kind of company has a logo of water drops moving in a triangle?" Alix answered, pointing out the Tsurugi Industries logo"

"Probably the same company that thinks a letter in a circle is a great logo" Nathaniel said mentioning the Gabriel Agrest brand. Everyone laughed to that, "Okay, okay. So I used the soap over the weekend and it worked, all the break outs were gone and my skin never felt smoother."

"Yeah yeah thats great," Alix said with a wave of her hand, "Tell us about your reaction", she said smiling.

Rolling his eyes again Nathaniel took another sip of milk and continued, "Well, when I went over to Marc's house after school that Monday, I couldn't stop raving about how well the soap worked and asked what it was make of".

Sabrina and Alix looked at him with a 'go on' look in their eyes.

"And so he told me the story about how his family went camel riding and how he got the soap from a market afterwords. Then he told me it was Camel soap. As in Camel milk. I put camel milk, on, my, face. Raw, unpasteurized camel milk."

"EWW" Sabrina and Alix screamed as Nathaniel shuttered thinking about it again.

"When I found out about what it was, I just stared at Marc wide eyed, mouth open in all. Then I just screamed out 'WHAT!' as loud as I could".

Alix laughed as Sabrina covered her smile with her hands

"Then...then" Nathaniel trailed off, Alix got closer to him trying to pry out the last bit of the story, "Then, Marc started laughing at me!", he said so ashamed he hid his head in his hands as his face turned red of embarrassment.

This made Alix and Sabrina barrel over with laughter. This story was priceless.

"HAHAHA, S-so, ha, he..he knew you wouldn't willingly put that on, HA!" Alix asked through bits of laughs.

Nathaniel just nodded his head making Alix laugh harder.

"Why didn't he tell you" Sabrina asked fanning the tears from her eyes, "Or why did he laugh"

"HE! Told me not to worry about the camel or the translation! HE said it would help my skin. HE said NOTHING about putting raw camel milk on me!".

Alix collapsed to the ground laughing and punching the floor.

"HE wanted to see MY REACTION!" Nathaniel shouted laughing and hiding his face which was still red.

"What did you do afterwards?" Sabrina asked composing herself, but losing it at what he said next.

"I-I grabbed the pillow from his bed and started wacking him with it..." Nathaniel sheepishly said.

Sabrina and Alix stopped, looked at Nathaniel, at each other, then started laughing again. That made Nathaniel laugh too.

"DUDE THATS PATHETIC!" Alix screamed, "I mean-that was- I- I don't even know. I love you man!", as she hugged Nathaniel and pinned him to the couch. "W-why am I only hearing these stories now!?"

"Oh, me and Marc have an agreement about not sharing things between us unless we both agree on it. And I sort of threatened him not to tell anyone", Alix snorted at that, "Alright fine I begged him not to tell anyone, yu happy?"

"Very much so, yes" Alix grinned and laughed more

"Hey, how's Marc doing?" Nathaniel asked Sabrina expecting him to still be out

Wiping a tear from her eye, Sabrina responded, "Oh he's awake".

Nathaniel and Alix stopped laughing, there faces grown serious. Alix lifted herself off Nathaniel and as he rose up from the couch like a vampire does from a coffin. He stone coldly asked "What?".

Sabrina not knowing what to do, just said, "Yeah, he woke up then-", as she was pushed to the ground as Nathaniel rushed passed her as Alix was blazing behind him.

Sabrina barely had time to fix her glasses when she heard a scream coming from upstairs.
