Chapter - 17

Author's POV

As soon as Kabir gets Kavya's call, Kabir comes back to Delhi on the first flight. After coming back to Delhi he goes straight to Kavya's house but does not find any clue there. He also tries to contact Kavya's father and Kavya but he fails.

Kabir couldn't say anything to Raghav nor could he tell him anything. Because he knew that if Raghav Bhai came to know about this incident, he would be very angry and he couldn't tell him all this without asking Kavya, hence he didn't tell anything to Raghav and tried to find Kavya first.

Kabir goes to the police station to get information about Kavya and her father.

A policeman was already irritated by a thief, arrived. He ordered the constable to take him to the lockup.

"Sir.." Kabir called him tried to getting his attention.

"Wait for two minutes." He ordered as he was busy seeing his phone.

"My best friend and her father are both missing, and you're asking me to wait?" Kabir said getting frustrated.

Policeman puts his phone on table. He got up from his chair and start walking towards Kabir. He stands in front of him.

"Are you Trump's grandson? Your accent is very clear. Or are you a minister's relative? Are you the DSP's neighbour or an IAS officer's peon? No, right? So such people have to wait in line for their turn. The Delhi Police doesn't offer instant results. Do you get it?" He said rudely.
"Now tell me the problem." He asked. And Kabir sighed at his words.

"My best friend and her father are both missing. Their phones are also unreachable." Kabir said with conserned.

"Fool, she must have blocked you. She must have met a rich guy and eloped with him. You ran out of money, so she ran out of talktime." A constable said interrupting them.

"Excuse me? Don't talk rubbish about Kavya." Kabir said getting protective towards Kavya.

"What did you say?" A policeman asked coming back to the topic.

"Kavya." Kabir said.

"Kavya? Kavya Grewal? The daughter of Vinod Grewal who worked for the Trehans?" He asked to Kabir in which he nodded towards him and said,"Yes."

"Do you know them?" Kabir asked.

"He's not missing, he's on the run. He's accused of murder. The entire police department is looking for them. We will inform you if we find her." Policeman said.

"On what basis are you making such big allegations? Tell me. I want to talk to your senior. Get your senior." Kabir said.

Policeman laughed at Kabir's words and constable joins policeman too. He said, "I'm the senior. Tell me, now."
"Why don't you visit the Qutub Minar and get your pictures taken? They takes some good pictures. Go. We'll inform you inform you as soon as we get to know." He said.

"I'm not scared of all this nonsense, okay? I'll go to the embassy." Kabir said and left from there.

As soon as Kabir comes out of the police station, a policeman comes there who is listening to everything from behind and he calls Jaggi and tells him that a boy came to ask about Kavya and they were talking about Trehan Mansion also.

At Golden Gate Hotel

Both Zain and Karan are waiting for Kavya's arrival. It is 11:30, Kavya has not come yet so now both of them think that Kavya will not come yet and both of them go out of the room and talk to the hotel manager.
