Viraj’s POV

Around evening I came back to the mansion. Walking through the corridor I reached Kavya's room. I tried to peek inside as the door was half open but found no one there.

I asked the guard passing by the corridor. “Where is Kavya?”

“Sir, she was with Ms. Ananya.” He replied and left as I gave him a nod.

I was going towards the backyard by the pool area to find Ananya. Before I reached the backyard I saw Kavya was coming towards me.

“What are you doing here?” I asked as I stood in front of her. “And where is Ananya?” I questioned.

“I don't know.”

“The guard told me you two were together.” I clarified.

“Yes, we were.” She said and started to walk around while talking. “Then I came outside. Ananya must be inside.” She completes it.

She looked around here and there. Seems like she is hiding something. Her actions say that.

“What are you hiding?”

“I wanted to say sorry to you. Actually, you were right. I shouldn’t have spoken to Soni. Then she might have been alive. It is my fault.”

An devilish smirk appears on my face as I know that she is faking. More over her seems like she's buttering.

I know the way she behaved in the morning was totally different and now she is calm as nothing has happened.

I tried to leave from there as I wanted to find where Ananya was but she held my arm to stop me.

“I want to say one more thing. You were right. I forget my position in this house. You're the kidnapper and I am the kidnappee. I'm the prey and you are the hunter. I…cool. I will always keep it in mind.”

Now I think something is suspicious that I didn't know or something is going around me that I should be aware of.

I jerk off my hand as she loses my hand which she was holding for a while. I try to leave from there again. I turned back to walk away but she came and stood in front of me.

I saw a bit of movement towards the pathway lobby. I ignored Kavya and walked to the direction.

Her legs got twisted and she fell inside the pool making me fall after her. We both came up from the water. All wet.

She tries to stand straight but as her leg gets twisted she slips inside the water.

I hold her hands and pull her towards me. I wrapped my hand around her waist. Our chest collides with each other. Her hand rested on my shoulder.
