The air was thick with anticipation as two swordsmen faced each other. Their blades gleamed, eager for the clash that would decide the winner of the burgeon contest and the owner of price money.
Initially, The duel had raged for what felt like an eternity, but now, as the blades slowed, the air crackled with tension. stepping forward with a determination to end the fight, her double-edged sword raised, its weight felt familiar like a part of hers.
with this, the two opponents' swords met 'her sword aimed at her opponent's throat. but he sidestepped, her sword grazing his arm.
Her next strike was swift—a downward slash meant to end the fight with this the fellow contestant plopped down on the ground admitting his defeat

feeling very satisfied with today's match and the amount I earned today, I exited the arena while hearing the praises and surprise of people towards me i giggled internally
' It's good everyone is fooled by me even my opponents couldn't recognize that they were defeated by a girl .... it's not their fault it's just that I am too good with disguise '
'' The Leon guy you know everyone thought he wouldn't last long with such a fragile body, who thought he would win ''

Unknown to her while she was too immersed in her appreciation she collided with a boy
'' Sorry !! it was my mistake ''She apologized but upon seeing a familiar face a grin came to her face
''Edward !! did you see that wasn't I cool back then" said enthusiastically initially later on it came as a whisper
'' yeah, I saw that there but not better than me '' he said with a smirk
'' but kiddo now it's quite late you should go home now ''he added as he started to walk towards her town. although they were in another town for the contest her town was still not so far they could reach there by walking only
'' hey!! when would you appreciate my talent and i.am.not?a kid, you know I am 12 only one year younger than you've said as she trailed behind him
" yeah whatever'' hands behind his head he said nonchalantly
Leona stared at his back although he never said that but from Edward's knowledge about noble society, and swordsmanship skills Leona knew that he was not a commoner like herself though she did not know the reason why he was pretending to be a commoner and an additional point was that no one knew who he or his parents were in the car in town
when both reached Caris town Edward bid his farewell informing her that he would meet her at their usual place tomorrow
feeling her sore muscles from her earlier intense fight she started to walk towards her district more specifically towards her home but before reaching her home she stopped by Yana's clothing store
after entering the store store's bell rang indicating someone had come
'' Leona here you come how did it go ?? ''asked Mrs. Brown
Leona standing in a victory pose raised her thumb indicating everything did go well
'' oh sweetie it's good to hear that '' Mrs. Brown said as she rummaged in the drawer finding something
'' Mrs brown sorry to say this but I have to go home sun gonna set soon and I still have to go home or else mom's gonna go mad'' Leona said as she plopped herself on a chair nearby
'' here you go '' Mrs. Brown said as she handed her a basket full of herbs
'' Thanks, Mrs brown for keeping this, tomorrow I'll bring some muffins from the bakery as a token of gratitude '' Leona said as she hurriedly exited the bakery and started to run towards her home only to slow her pace down some time later
outside her home stood many Nobel guards and a magnificent carriage upon seeing this worry rose inside her and yet another time she started running towards her house only to be stopped by guards this time
'' stop right here you are permitted to enter '' said the guards
upon hearing this Leona said '' oh sure but I reside in this house are you still gonna stop me ''
after hearing Leona suddenly the guards backed away and knelt in front of her
'' sorry little lady'' apologized the guards
confused by all this Leona ignored them and hurried inside her house only to see a strange nobel man sitting in front of her family
' what the hell is happening here ' With a shocked face Leona stood there
