There was once a time where murders could get away with their heinous crimes but that changed nearly 200 years ago. Things are long advanced now in our year of life, 2011 being that year, only a few crimes have ever gotten through since then. Now its My turn to defend the streets Detroit against rampant crime.
My name is detective Ron Gordon, part of Detroit's Special Investigation Unit (DSIU for short). The DSIU's job is to solve crimes that are unsolvable to most people except us. My Height 6ft 2in, my age 46. I must admit I have gained a bit of weight from spend most of the time in office but it happens i am trying to keep myself active now though.
Well this all started at 10pm on 5th August a couple months ago..
*bzzzzz..bzzzzz*
*bzzzzz..bzzzzz*Det. Gordon turned and looked at his PA device which read:
~Murder Outside of Mr Mikes Diner at 6163 M-1 DSIU report to scene~
Upon reading this he quickly gathered his badge, PA, phone and his new suit jacket he had brought a couple days before. He ran straight for the stairs going down them two by two at a mesmerising pace, After reaching the bottom of the stairs he shot through a door which was being held open by one of the other detectives that saw him coming.
Blinded by the light of the street light that was next to the door thinking to himself, damn-it why haven't they fixed that bright light yet? before almost ploughing into the car in front of him. With time running against him he took a quick look around for his car when he sighted it and began running across the road to get to it and quickly went inside and started up the engine and drove off with the sirens flaring loudly.
Within minutes he had arrived at the crime scene which had been cordoned off a few buildings down each way of the road. Laying just outside the diner door was a body, by the looks a male, Caucasian about 5ft 11in in height with what looks like multiple stab wounds. Now that's where the normal murder case stopped for the police, there was no blood anywhere, no murder weapon, no security footage and no one heard or saw anything.
Detective Gordon noticed these immediately has the police detectives were shaking their head, he walked over to the detective in charge and asked "How does a murder like this happen in a crowded location like here with no witnesses and no blood"
the detective turned to face him after he said this and told him "We have no idea its never happened before to us, that's why we called you in". the detective then turns and continues writing his notes about this when he stopped "I really don't understand, all we have is a body, there is nothing else here no drag marks on the floor, just a small mark on the window as if he just collapse in front of the diner yet he has stab wounds multiple ones in fact."
Gordon took all the information he was being told in making mental notes of everything he saw and even began taking photos of everything out of the ordinary on the phone that he had. " Well we better get this body back to the examiner and see what she has to tell us about out unfortunate victim".
