CHAPTER 6

Present Day...

Eda holding her only son while he is sleeping after dinner, he look so tired because not take a nap all in the day. Meanwhile the babysitter is already leave after Eda arrive at home. The babysitter is a young lady around 20 years, she came from Mardin. Sometimes she accompanying Eda and her son for some days if Eda are busy working and have a trip other city to meet the client for design.

The door is knocking, she put down his son and make sure he is sleep tight without disturbed. Then she walk to the door and look at the mini hole to make sure the person in outside is Serkan. Then she unlock the door, and move backward to open it. And he step forward entering the apartment.

His glance at her from top to toe wearing a short silky pants matching with her top of thin silk. Then as quick as he can blink the eyes to control himself.
"Sorry I stop by in the evening and suddenly text you to meet him."
"Oke. He sleep in the bedroom." She smile and dirrectly walk accompanying him to the room.
Serkan stop and walk slowly and reach his tiny bed near the main huge bed. Wondering why she use the big one alone meanwhile his son is alone in the tiny bed. His mind crawling to something bad.
"I put him here for safety and he wasn't fall." she explain.
"Good decision. What is his name?" He adore him while sleepy. The haircut remind him with his mini version in the past.
"His name is Aslan."
"What a strong and maskulin name."
"Okay I leave you both. If he awake just let me know."
"Where do you go?"
"Prepare pumping breastmilk for stock."
"Tamam." Even he only understand with the breast word only.

In the next bedroom, she start her ritual for pumping and sometimes scrolling the phone to see something and reply Ayfer chat.

A few hours later, she walk to the main bedroom. She find Serkan sleep in the main bed with his son hug his solid arm. She leave them behind after her phone is ringing. ID caller show is Kaan.
"Hello merhaba.."
"Hello Eda. Have you sleep now?"
"No not yet. What happen?"
"Just asking how are you?"
"Hmm..fine thanks. Are you at office?"
"No, just want to discuss about my new project. The client need a landscape design immediately. So I think this is good for you to join with us in this project. If you don't mind."
"When is the deadline?"
"Next month. Are you in?"
"Maybe I'll see my schedule first. I'll inform you later. Is that okay?"
"No problem. Where is Aslan? What he doing now?"
She smile,"He is sleeping, this little man have a busy day. He doesn't want to take a nap this noon."
Then they laugh together when she tell the story completly. Hear a voice who laugh make Serkan wake up. And he bring Aslan back to the bed box. And slowly walk to the small living room. And in the corner corridor he find Eda smile in the middle phone conversation which he doesn't know who it was. Then he move one step forward waiting her and listening the talks. He know that the callwmer is a man. She finally saw him standing in the corner corridor watching her like he wait something and yes this thing is the same like she did in the past when Serkan talk to Celine, if she ready to break up with Ferit if Serkan want her to comeback. But Serkan didn't response just the same like Eda did in the phone right now.

After she finish then he walk closer.
"Who is he?"
"Melo."
"You're a bad liar Eda. I know that voice."
She rolls her eyes," If you know then why you still asking." She wake up to close the curtain and the window behind her because suddenly the thunder are so strong also the rain fall down. Serkan block her with his arm when she want to walk to corridor,
"I want to look at him."
"He is fine, I lay him on the bed box. I want to talk with you." He stare at her unbutton shirt in the middle of her chest that she forgot to adjust it after pumping. And she quickly button it up immediately.

"I know it was Kaan on the phone. And I just wanna say that I will often meet Aslan here. To let him know that his father is here and always love him unconditionally. If he need his father he will know that I always here. So please let me can keep in touch with him, Eda."

Eda clench her jaws, "Iyi tamam."and give a deep look at him. There is a long silwnt moment between them.

"Okay tomorrow I'll come again befire he fall asleep. Thank you for this night. See you later." Without looking behind he grap the door handle to open it and close behind. Eda almost can't have a time to reply his words. She watch the curtain and look from tere that Serkan entering his car without running just walk normally. And then leave the building, feel so strange with him, Eda drink a glass of water before sleep..

Serkan walk to his living room at Bolat mansion. On side he is happy to see his son is grow so much. His age is 1 years and more, he want to spend more time with him. The other side, his has a bad situation woth Eda. Meanwhile he saw the ring on her finger, the close nest between Eda and Kaan, the way she smile while talk with Kaan on the phone. His mind fly to 10 years ago when he meet Eda after he study abroad and then she sometimes stay in Bolat house and sometimes to her family because his father help her schoolarship. Serkan and Eda sometimes meet occasionally, Alptekin and Aydan treat both just like brother and sister. Since the Bolat want to adopt her a new member of this family but Serkan always disagree. His biggest problem after return home is Eda Yildiz.

And Eda knows the journey Serkan dating Celine for the first time until they broke up only in few months. And the fake engagement between Serkan and Eda is only to break Celine theory that Serkan is still have a feeling for Celine. But Serkan have more and more reason behind all that. Serkan always surprising reason for everything. Celine is his childhood friend just like Engin and Phyril. But his heart only stop and done for one person only.
