"i'll always love you." - pt. 2

As Anna walked down the street to go see Thomas. She couldn't help but cry. She stopped for a minute in a darker place behind a building to collect herself before she went to see him. When she looked up after trying to rid the tears, she noticed where she was. This was the spot the 3 Shelby's and 2 Silvers (most times 1 Silver) would come and laugh, play, fight, everything. This is where most of their best memories were, behind The Garrison.

This was where the boys were letting Anna practice fight on them. They wanted to toughen her up because they knew how these streets were. On the first punch she gave John, he instantly got a bloody nose. She felt so bad but also proud. She didn't know she had that in her. Thomas picked her up and jumped around laughing. When he set her down he had to hold his stomach because it hurt so much from laughing. She didn't think she'd ever seen him laugh that much all at once.

When she was done day dreaming, she wiped her eyes and continued walking to her Thomas. Right now, they both needed eachother in this moment. To hold each other, to be there for eachother.

Tommy and Anna tried to hide their.. relationship? They had never said they were boyfriend and girlfriend specifically, but everyone knew they belonged together.

Before Martha died, her and Polly would talk all the time about the 2. About how in love they were, even at such a young age, how they couldn't live without each other. They were soulmates. They are soulmates. Their love is one of a kind.

Anna walked into Charlie's Yard where she knew Tommy was. She walked around to see where he was when she saw him sitting on the ground with his legs dangling, almost touching the water.

"Tom?" Anna said. He didn't turn his head to look at her. She walked towards him and sat down right next to him but with some length in between them. Tommy noticed that.

Neither of them knew what to say. There was nothing to say. What are you supposed to say when the love of your life is getting shipped off to war and you don't know how long they'll be there nor will you know if they'll die there or not? It's literally heartbreaking. Every minute they sat there in silence, both of their hearts broke a little bit.

"Tom please say something."

"I don't know what to say."

Anna moves closer to Tom.

"I'm sorry" she manages to whisper

She looks up at him when he starts to speak and sees the tears that are threatening to fall from him blue eyes.

"Anna, what if I don't come back?"

"Tommy look at me." She softly grabs his face with both her hands "You are going to be fine. Authur is going to be fine, John is going to be fine. Who knows how long it will be for? You guys could even be gone for a couple weeks or months at best. But however long it will be, I will wait for you. I will forever and always wait for you. In this life time and all the other ones, I'll wait. I'll always love you. Forever and ever and ever and even more evers. Just please promise me that you will come back. You'll come back to me, Thomas."

Tom looked at her. He really didn't want to promise her that he would come back, but he knew he would make it happen. He's a fucking Shelby. Thomas Shelby. And he will come back to his Anna Silver.

"I promise you, Anna Silver, I will come back. I'll come back and I'll buy you a house out in the middle of absolutely fucking no where, and you can have all the small cats and big dogs you want, and will have little me and yous running around the huge yard we're going to have, and they'll ride horses, and play with all their cousins. And we'll be happy. Breathing fresh air instead of the piss filled air here. We'll be happy and together. That's all i've ever wanted."
