Cold metal against your head, you slip into darkness crouched under the Remora's control panel.

You don't feel your body slide to the floor as you lose consciousness, or even stir when the door to the Remora cockpit opens moments later.

Your senses faded out while you were still leaning against the metal plating hiding under the control panel desk. Your eyes shut, your legs curled up under you and your arms still clutching your tummy. Your body aches in painful waves but as your senses drift away you stop thinking about the pain.

A familiar feeling comes over your senses.

Like suddenly being surrounded by a warm hug, you no longer feel the cold metal or even your limbs. In your moment of disconnect from the real world you had connected to the force.

You open your eyes, surrounded by a darkness that is cut across by many different winding paths of starlight glowing a white-bluish glow. You feel calm, but sad and realize you are seated on one of these pathways as you adjust to the world around you. You continue to look around, breathing even though there is no air, and you easily find the strength to stand.

You had expected your body to protest and ache as you stirred, but it was perfectly fine. Your vision, you realized, was no longer bloody, and the taste had gone from your mouth. It was as if you had not been attacked at all.

"Where am I?" you thought out loud looking around more now that you were standing.

"It is the world between worlds"; A familiar voice speaks and you turn to see your Master Caltrel standing before you. You hadn't noticed him before, but then again perhaps he had only just appeared. Unlike when you had spoken with him ages ago on Numidian Prime Caltrel was not starry or holographic looking, it was as if he was actually present with you.

"Master" you say with a happy sigh, feeling a few tears come to your eyes. You rush forward and hug him, feeling warmth from his hug as he wrapped his arms around you; "looks like I'll never get you to stop calling me that" he chuckles.

"Master" you say looking up at him, sudden fear in your face "am I dead?"

Master Caltrel steps back from your hug and pauses for a moment; "I do not believe so. This is the world between worlds and the realm that those pass to after death is beyond this."

You look down at your hands turning them over "then...Where ... what's happening?"

"I'm not sure" Caltrel replied with a gentle smile "I am just as confused as you are why I am here".

You look down at your feet and then over the edge of the starry pathway you were standing on. As you continued to feel the energy around you, you realized that the force was flowing and consistent in this place, more than you had ever experienced. In fact, the force was all you could feel. As you looked over the edge you knelt down and noticed small swirling spirals of starlight running through the air. As you close in on them you can see the Marauder and Remora floating in space as if you were an outside viewer observing them.

"What happened before you came here?" Caltrel asked "Perhaps that is why you are here".

"I was... attacked" you say, remembering the sudden fear that had been present in your mind, and the pain and terror you had felt. All of it came rushing back in a sudden flurry of memories, each one demanding your minds attention.

"An inquisitor?"

"A ....clone" you said reluctantly and feeling a pang in your heart as well as an ache in your head.
