THE WOMAN LIKE ME

"I  knew she would come I always knew" Josephine Said repeatedly as she burst into tears
   " Of course, she's your only daughter she has to come back" grandma said as she tried to console the other woman
     " When are you going to be able to see " grandma said as she tried to stop her voice that was choking with tears
   " I wanted to stop the therapy but I just found a new reason to push harder" Josephine said as the tears rolled down her face
     " You have to see, no matter what " grandma said with conviction as she looked at what her daughter has become
       " Grandma, promise me you will take better care of her" she said as the tears kept rolling
   " I promise you Josephine, you've sacrificed more than enough for the family " grandma said as the tears rolled down her face
     Grandma turned off the phone and returnes it the phone was pushed in and the portrait was back to how it was
   Grandma sat down on the edge of the bed and the tears rolled down faster.
    FLASHBACK
"Josephine, you're more stronger than your elder brother I want you to be the one in charge of the mafia kingdom" grandma said with a frown
   " What, mom am pregnant I want to be with James " Josephine shouted as she made to storm out of the room
   " Josephine " grandma voice thundered as she called out which made Josephine to freeze.
     " James, left you in exchange for Money I met him and he named his price he left you for a million dollars " grandma said coldly and Josephine broke into tears
    " You leave for rose island tomorrow for proper training " she said as she left without giving the heartbroken Josephine a second thought
    END OF FLASH BACK
  Grandma heard a knock which interrupted her train of thought. She quickly cleaned her tears and calmed down
   " Come in" she said plainly
" Mom, why did you make her wear that cloth do you want to trigger Orion's panic attack"
   " Shut up, I was just checking the aura and tattoo the level of calmness" grandma said as she looked at her son with disappointment
   " Mom, are you still running the mafia kingdom " Desmond asked as he looked at his mother suspiciously
   " I won't be in all this if my son is not a softy" grandma yelled at him flaring up in anger
   " Grandma, I thought you dropped it since Josephine died" he asked with utter disbelief
   " Idiot, how did you think we maintained our position in the business world it's because we rule the mafia kingdom dummy" grandma said as she laughed at Desmond sarcastically
     " Mom, Andriette " Desmond said as he looked at her mom as if she was seeing a monster
    " If she's Josephine daughter she's taking over the mafia business" grandma said with a air of dismiss
   Desmond stormed out of the room and went straight to his room
   " I can't let grandma ruin Andriette life again I did enough.  I have to do a background check discover if she's Andriette and take her far away from here"
    Desmond picked up his phone and called someone
   " I want you to stop looking for Andriette and look into this girl Rhesa Harrison" he said in a domineering tone
    " Yes sir" the person at the other end said as Desmond disconnected the call
   " I have failed you once Josephine I won't do that again I have to protect your daughter at all cost" Demond said as he took his car keys and left the house
   " Why is everyone behaving like this when all I want is to pass the firm to someone I trust " grandma thought aloud as she looked at the door pouting her lips
     " I wish Josephine can get done with her therapy and be able to take over the mafia then I won't have any problem whatsoever" grandma said her eyes glint with something

" I want to eat chocolate" I placed my hands an the box again but Orion placed the box higher
  " You're a fucking asshole" I cussed flaring up in anger since being stubborn isn't helping me
   " Oh my cute little wide cat" Orion said with that smug smile again I was completely flared up and my little heart has being broken
   " I hate you asshole" I said as I stormed out of the room in anger as the tears tried to spill out
  " Come on, Rhesa are you angry" Orion cut up with me and raised my chin to look at him. I raised up and cut that annoying smile at the end of his lip
   " Wow, he's not even sorry he should apologize" the childish side of me was screaming in my head
     " My chocolate" I requested as I swallowed the anger painfully
   " You will take only two bars of chocolate"
   He said giving me that don't argue with me look and I accepted. I was elated when I took a bite out of the chocolate
    " This is heavenly" I mumbled as I took another bite
   " I guess I should be the big man and feed you since you are too thin" he said as he rubbed my head in the puppy way scattering my hair
   " Hands off Babbon" I shouted at him as I hit his hand recoiling immediately because of the pain
   " Bloody muscles" I muttered as I continue eating my Chocolate bar"
   " Wait, do you say am thin " I asked with a bewildered Expression and he kept staring at me with that it's obvious look
   " Do you want me to point it out again" he said as he took a quick swipe on my body and the anger I swallowed came rolling out as I lashes out on him
  " Bloody asshole"
" Dumbass"
" You dumb Mr pancake" I yelled as I threw my shoes at him which he dodge expertly still maintaining that stupid grin that always make me want to slap him. He took my hands and threw me on his shoulder
  " Fuck you "
" I hate you " I yelled as I struggled to come down which only earn me a smack on the butts and a chuckle from him. I ended up being thrown in the bed in a manner that both amaze and startled me
   " I swear one day I will kill you Orion" I shouted at him and he swayed his butt at me as he walked into the bathroom
    I tucked myself in as I sulked

Waking up to a light flashing from nowhere
" Thank goodness, you took your precious time to wake up " Orion said at me from the window as he drew curtain open
     " I swear I will really kill you" I said as I squinted my eyes due to the rays of light
   " You said that before sleeping and I guess you really dreamt of doing it" he said giving off that charming laughter that always makes my inside tingle
   " Urggg" I snorted as I walked towards the bathroom
  Some minutes later, we were at the dinning table
  We eat a breakfast of ham, bacon and pancakes with egg and cheese
  " I want spaghetti and sauce with meatballs and a cup of hot chocolate drink with plate of chocolate cookies not this" I sulked at the dinning table and grandma looked at me with amazement
   " I really have someone who prefer rice and sauce with roasted chicken and hot chocolate drink in the morning to hams and bacon" grandma said with a smile
    "Aunty Josephine" Orion said as he continued eating
   " Really"  I asked with Suprise
" Yes, she likes chocolate cookies more than me her mother" grandma said and I caught that painful glint in her eyes
    " Where is she " I asked curiously as I turned the pancakes with my fork
  " She travelled to somewhere" Orion said ãs he shrugged and continued eating
  " Grandma, to where" I asked not ready to let it go
  " I will tell you come with me when you are done eating"
   I quickly aye my meal and followed grandma she showed me a whole lot of pictures of a woman that looks like me
   " This woman looks like me " I muttered as I kept flipping the pictures. She's was my last child and only female
  " Mr Maxwell has a younger sister" I asked as I looked at Grandma in disbelief
    " Hmmm" was all grandma said as she stood up I returned the pictures to her since I know her standing up signal a end of conversation
      " A woman like me " I muttered to myself as I walked towards my room.
