"Boruto! Wake up or you'll be late for the academy!" The six year old blue eyed blond groaned as he heard his father yell for him before gasping excitedly, jumping out of his bed.

"Coming Daddy!" Boruto yelled back and quickly ran out of his room, hurrying downstairs where his family was having breakfast.

"Morning, niichan!" Himawari greeted her brother.

"Morning Hima-chan! Mommy! Daddy!" Boruto said happily as he sat down, practically bouncing with excitement.

Hinata turned to the boy with smile. "Good morning Boruto, ready for your first day for the academy?" Hinata asked as she gave him his breakfast and Boruto grinned up at her.

"You bet! I'm Boruto Uzumaki, dattabasa! I'm always ready!" He said and Hinata giggled while Naruto grinned as he watched his son boast about himself.

"I'm glad you're excited, but you'll be late if you don't start eating your breakfast." Naruto teased and Boruto gasped before starting to eat, rather messily and dangerously fast. "S-slow down! I was joking!"

ABOUT THIRTY MINUTES LATER

Boruto just finished putting on his shoes when he heard a knock on the door. "I got it!" He said, as he had a feeling who it was, and she opened the door, revealing a familiar woman with pink hair. "Auntie Sakura!"

"Good morning, Boruto-kun." Sakura said to the blond boy.

"Morning!"

"Boruto, don't just open the door like that!" Naruto scolded as he and Hinata walked over.

"Why not? It's just Auntie Sakura!" Boruto argued back.

"It could have been 'not Auntie Sakura'. You need to be careful, ok?" Boruto nodded and Naruto smiled at him before turning his attention to Sakura. "Morning, Sakura."

"Morning Naruto." Sakura said to the blonde man and she smiled at his purple haired wife. "Morning Hinata-kun."

"Good Morning Sakura-chan." She said then she realized something. "Huh where's Sarada-chan?" She asked as she didn't see the raven haired girl and Sakura laughed. She moved out the way a bit, revealing the six year old raven haired girl in red glasses playing with the frog statue the Uzumaki's had in their yard. "Oh of course, haha."

"Sarada!" The little girl jumped from the sudden calling of her name but she quickly relaxed when she realized who did it.

"Coming mama!" She said, giggling happily as she approached the three adults and she grinned up at them. "Good morning Uncle Naruto and Auntie Hinata!" Hinata smiled down at the girl.

"Hello Sarada." Naruto greeted her with a sweet smile that his wife matched.

"You ready for your first day?" She asked and the little girl nodded vigorously, dropping her glasses in the process which she quickly put back on. She blushed a little red as the adults gave a small snicker.

"Seems like you are and excited too." Naruto commented as he got down to her level, resting a hand her shoulder. "Be sure to listen to your teachers so you can be a strong kunoichi, ok?" Sarada nodded as she smiled at him and Naruto smiled back, even though he felt his chest ache a bit. "Good." He stood back up. "I think you guys should get a move on."

Boruto pouted. "Why can't you drop me off?" He whined, clearly sad that his daddy couldn't be with him on his first day.

"Because I have to go to a meeting with Uncle Kakashi and your mommy can't because.." "Mommy's taking me to see granny!" Himawari yelled from upstairs, since Hinata told the girl should could bring one stuff animal to her grandma's house, and Naruto nodded with amused smile as he continued to talk to his son.
