chapter 8 : mother and son

After explaining everything to the rest of the team, they fell in shock and was very surprised. "The fuck you mean we letting them in the team!" Spade yelled. I guess he was disgusted by the fact we trusting the guys who tried to kill me.

"Dude, we aren't taking those two in." Flare said, as he and Tiny-Ghoul was protecting Eclipse and Akiza.

"Look maybe we should have just tried to kill Sargon ourselves." Tetsu suggested.

"You do that." Said the general.

"Guys look, I'm trusting them because they know Sargon isn't my father and my mother is alive too. Plus, think about it. 10 to 1, we got 9 more the Sargon."

"Brother, where is Sora's mother anyways?" Asked Frostina.

"She lives with the valley of dragons. She trains with Dragon to understand there type of fighting style. That's in central Africa. She with master Dragoon and our father Hades and death."

"Can you take me to her Slyther."

"As a dragon, yes. Sora, Tsuki-chan, Tetsu, Spade, and i go to the valley of dragons. And the rest will look for Sargon."

"Sounds like a plan." Said Flare.

As we walked to the top of the base, we saw everyone leave to find Sargon. Me, Spade, Tsuki-chan, Tetsu and Slyther stood and looked at each other.

"Now what do we do?" Spade asked.

"I'm gonna use my demon powers." Replied Slyther. He used a breeze of ice to create an ice portal. At first I thought it wouldn't work but in a blink of an eye we was in the valley of dragons.

"Gets easier every time." He comment.

As we walked around, we saw different demons. Some were dragons and others were like us. Even demons I never seen where here. I thought at first that it was a army but it actually a refuge for demons. As we continued walking, we arrived at a tall white building with my last name on it.

"Sora,"  Tetsu said. "This is where you go in to meet your-"

"My darling baby boy." A strange woman with black hair came and hugged me. I look up and seen her face. "Hi Sora, how are you."

"Mom..."

"Yes, I'm your mother. But, I didn't ordered the two of them to bring you both here."

"We are sorry mistress Misaki." Said Slyther as Tetsu repeated. Just then, a woman came from the building and hugged my mom from behind.

"Misaki you know I don't like teens in my home. Especially teens I never seen before." The woman looked at me and smell me."You must be Sora Vanity. I'm Athena."

"Mom why are you harassing my friends." Tetsu said.

"Your mother?" I was stock to hear it from him.

"Please do come in, all of you." Athena offered.

As we walked inside, the first thing I seen was a picture with my mom holding a baby. I took it where it stood to see it. I was amazed at the picture. "Sora Vanity is just like his mother. Touching things he has no business touching." Athena claimed. "This was me before the war, right? I wanted to know what happened.

"Yes it is." My mom sat me on the couch next to her. "Sora I want to tell you about your father, and your destiny."

"My destiny?" I was wondering what she meant.

"Your father, Tartos was a great leader of the Vanity clan and amazing father and husband. He was very immature and mature at different times. We got married when I was 25. When I was pregnant with you, a shadow woman came and told him his lover will give him a baby called the the children of promise. And he will become king of hell. As the days went on, I became scared of the idea you will become king because you might become different. But I wanted you to do good." She took a deep breath and sighed. "There was one that hated the idea more then anything."

"Yeah, Sargon." Spade said.

"Well, he was known as Sagoka, but Sargon must has fit him perfectly. He tried to kill the whole clan. Only me and Sora made it to the hideout in Greenwich forest, along with Athena, Death and Hades. I sent you to earth so you won't be in danger but I guess I failed."

"Failed. What do you mean?" Tsuki-chan asked.

"As a mother, a wife, and as queen of the clan." This was the first time I seen her cry. I clenched my hand into a fist and punch the table in half.

"You didn't fail as a mother. Look at my life now, the friends I have, the way I am. I turned out alright. And you and dad must have a great relationship. So you didn't fail as a wife. Damn sure you didn't fail as queen of the clan because I can bring the clan back one day. I say you did what you can."

A smile came on not only her face but everyone in the room. I guess with me believing that if I'm gonna be king, I will have to lead everyone to fight Sargon. I am the son of Tartos and Misaki.
