It was about almost 2 in the morning, most demons outside gone, making it look abandoned as the wind wist by the window. Lucifer huffed, he tossed and turned in his bed, unable to fall asleep. He sat up, his eyes dropping as he got out of bed.

He opened his window and breathed in the air, which smelled damp, and muggy, making him feel queasy. Lucifer spread out his wings and jumped from the window, not bothered to use the door and head out the hotel the normal way, and flew around in the dark, red sky.
Lucifer looked down below him, having a soft smile on his face as he watched below, seeing demons of all kinds roam. Till, a little dot of a deer caught his attention. Alastor... He groaned, seeing the demon torturing another, just casually slamming it against the wall with one of his tentacles that sprouted from his back.
He landed gracefully on the ground, speaking around a corner and watched the demon that Alastor was torturing cower in fear, spluttering out words that sounded like a jumble of apologies and saying how it got away: making Lucifer cock his head to the side.

Got away? He rolled his eyes. Probably a deal that dumb little demon made with Alastor. He sighed, then quickly looked up to see Alastor's ear flick and looked his way. A menacing grin on his face as he let out a growl and smashed the cowering demon against the wall, making it indent into the concrete of it. Lucifer flinched from the loud crash it made, while still eyeing Alastor, who was coming his way; muttering words with static lacing his voice.
"H-hey, Alastor!" He murmured out to him, knowing he'd been caught by the deer, making him have a worried expression as he watched Alastor advance closer.

"Why hello, dear Lucifer . ." The static still slightly laced within his voice, but much less now. "What brings you here?" He tilted his head slowly, making his ears loll sideways. "Uh- just out on a..um..little stroll?" Lucifer didn't sound too confident in his words, but tried to sound a little convincing. "Mhm," Alastor hummed, not sounding a bit convinced but kept his unmoving smile, "say, how about I tag along with this little 'stroll' of yours?" Alastor seemed to have something in mind planned, as he grinned ever so slightly wider.

He was going to see if he can get closer to the king, and manipulate him in a way, to try and get out of his deal with Lilith, which is bound to fail, but it's worth a try due to what Alastor thought.

Lucifer raised both brows at him, and seemed a bit conflicted, before he sighed and agreed to let him tag along.
As they both walked, a small imp stumbled into Alastor's legs, making his face scrunch up. The small imp glanced up at him, and instantly squealed while getting up to run away. "Wow, not even a small imp can handle your ugly ass!" Lucifer laughed, making Alastor scowl. "Shush, you oversized potato." "Oversized potato!?" Lucifer scoffed, but kept walking, his brows furrowing together, making his face scrunch up in annoyance at the nickname.

As they kept walking, they turned around and started to head back to the hotel; bickering back and forth, but didn't go too far as outsiders were still present on the streets of hell.
Lucifer seemed spaced out now as they were both silent, making Alastor glance at him with a raised brow. "Quiet, huh?" Alastor murmured under his breath, and opened the Hotel door; not waiting for Lucifer while walking in, making Lucifer scowl.

Once both of them were inside, Lucifer plopped down on the couch and sighed, rubbing his temples to try and sooth his headache from bickering to much with Alastor.

Alastor on the other hand, went to the kitchen to make one of his favorite meals his mother had made for him when he was alive. Jambalaya! Making his smile widen into a genuine one by thinking of her, but it soon faltered a little from the thought of his life when he was alive, but he shook it off and started fetching the stuff he needed for the food.

A few minutes later
-----------------

Lucifer heard clinking in the kitchen, making him glance at it curiously, but also realizing that Alastor hadn't went upstairs, since he didn't see him go up the elevator, or stairs.

He heaved himself up from the couch, and walked slowly towards the kitchen, his head pounding as he winced quietly. He peaked through the door, just to see Alastor cooking while humming to a jazz tune. He gawked at the sight, not exactly expecting the 'Radio Demon' to be humming and doing little spins while making.. whatever he was making.

Lucifer smiled softly at the sight, but soon it went back to a scowl once Alastor noticed him. "Hm?" Alastor hummed, and raised a brow with a smirk. "Nothing, smiling creep." Lucifer spat, then walked back to the couch with folded arms. Alastor shrugged, then went back to making his jambalaya.

Lucifer flopped back down on the couch, blinked a few times, then groaned. Ugghh, why do I have such a headache.. he thought to himself while putting the back of his hand to his head, wincing at the pain in his head. "Damn it." He huffed, laying down on the couch, curling up and holding his knees to his chest while scrunching up his face, mumbling stuff while being in pain.

Alastor came walking out with two plates in his hands, and sat down on the couch. He looked down at Lucifer; his eyebrows raised in surprise, and he sat the two plates down on the other side of the couch, and looked back at Lucifer. "Quit staring at me." Hissed Lucifer, his eyes narrowing at Alastor once they were open again. "You sound like you're hungover." Alastor chuckled as Lucifer sat up, but winced as his head throbbed harder.

Lucifer scoffed. "Oh really?" He asked sarcastically and rolled his eyes, shooting a glare at Alastor. Alastor picked up the plates that had Jambalaya on it and handed one to Lucifer, who hesitantly took it. "And, this is?.." "Jambalaya." Alastor replied simply, chewing some in his mouth already as he spun the fork in his hand. "This isn't poisoned, is it?" Alastor let out a laugh. "Dear, no."
Lucifer looked down at the food, that was slowly getting cold, so he took a little bit on his fork, and ate it. "Oh wow- this is actually pretty good." Lucifer murmured, taking another bite from his fork.

An hour later
-----------------

Alastor on one side of the couch hummed while reading his book, Lucifer on the other side of the couch yawned and stood up, his headache now gone. He walked over to the elevator, causing Alastor to glance up at him, his ear flicking. "Going to bed, I see?" He asked, not exactly needing to sleep himself.
"Why ask if it's obvious?" Lucifer scoffed and stepped inside the elevator, making Alastor sigh in annoyance.

The elevator chimed, and stopped at the very top floor. Lucifer stepped out and walked to one side of the floor and stopped at his door. He grabbed the handle, twisted it, and stepped in, closing the door behind him.
Once he was inside, he instantly went to his bed and flopped down on it, not even bothered to change his clothes as he turned off his lamp and got under the covers to fall asleep.

Lucifer awoke with a knock at the door, making him groan as he tried to ignore it and fall back to sleep, which failed as the person behind the door knocked again.
He sat up, tossed the covers to the side and got out the bed, putting on his little duck slippers and walked to the door. He opened it with a yawn as he rubbed his eyes. "Yes..?" He mumbled, not yet opening his eyes as he continued rubbing them. "Morning dad!" Charlie exclaimed, giving a big hug to her father, making Lucifer flinch and stop rubbing his eyes. "Oh, morning Char-Char- uh, what are you doing up so early?" Lucifer tilted his head, raising a brow as he gave a small smile.
"Wellllll, I was wondering if you'd like to have breakfast with everyone, like, going out to have breakfast?" She smiled warmly, excited about his answer. "Um, I suppose it would be nice to go out to eat." Lucifer shrugged, and smiled bigger at Charlie. "Now, go rest for a little longer." He chuckled once Charlie excitedly nodded, and hurried back over to the elevator.

He sighed happily and closed the door. Lucifer walked back over to his bed, and sat down on it gently while taking off his slippers. He leaned against the headboard, and glanced out the window, spacing out with a smile on his lips as he imagined how this morning would turn out.
