We didn't know it at the time. That there was more of us out there, and I don't think that they did either. There wasn't any hope at all for the other three planets, the ones that didn't survive the Trial, the planets that just weren't good enough to last. Now, after several decades, the three surviving planets: Earth, Seren and Vad, still have no clue what the future holds, and how much danger interrupts their once clear path and chance for survival. All three planets are in the dark and know nothing about the Trial but it's name and how dangerous it could be...but I do. The things who are watching the planets, the ones that set up the Trial found me alone on Earth when I was a baby and took 'care' of me until I was about 10, then put me back on Earth, right where they found me, all alone. When they had gone, I found my way to a town, a went to the orphanage, where I still live now, at 16. My memories are fuzzy from when I was a kid, but I get dreams at night, and little flickers of memories appear in my head. At the time I didn't know, but I do now. About all of the things they did to me, all of the information they stuffed into my infant head. But what they don't know, is that a lot of their vital secret information like their plans, their weaknesses, all of the stuff that they thought they had hidden from me is wrapped and protected by my skull, and is planted in the safest depths of my brain.
