A Perfect Bow on a Perfect Friend

(This story is mostly focused on Angela and Tim's friendship)

Everyone year at the station a few officers get together to do a Secret Santa but the twist is you have to get a basket.

Angela gets Lucy
Lucy gets Nyla
Nyla gets Wade
Wade gets Celina
Celina gets Aaron
Aaron gets Tim
Tim gets Angela

How unfortunate that Tim gets Angela his best friend but if you think about it he can mess with her, what a clever thought Bradford, what could a guy like Tim get a detective like Ang?

Angela needs Tim's help for what to get Lucy but what if he tells Lucy about her being her secret santa and then everything goes into shambles and falls apart, ugh Ang is overthinking the whole situation and should just ask Tim like what harm could it do... except the fact every time she would go up to Tim he would run off like a little girl...

All day Tim repeated the question in his head "what could a simple guy like me get a detective like her." To be honest he is right what could he get her, she'll just figure it out immediately... unless he'd buy the most unexpected things like cereal and "fun" toys (not kid friendly but ✨kid friendly✨)
, finally Tim uses his non existent brain for the greater good like Lucy likes to say.

Angela thought to get Tim 100 alarms that would beep at a certain time but that's so useless, unless you put fake lakers game tickets along side the alarms, now she's getting creative.

"Hi just all of these.." Tim looks quite afraid attempting to buy "fun" toys nonchalantly but as soon as he got them he just made a run for it because that was more awkward than your favourite team loosing, #awkward, hey at least buying cinnamon toast crunch isn't bad but a lot is always very #AWK #WARD!

"What are you doing Ang?" - Weasley
"Completely destroying my hands by setting all these alarms." Angela replies gesturing a thumbs up
"Right, well what else do you need for this gift?"
"A huge basket, a fluffy blanket and lakers game tickets." - A
"I mean it should not be too hard to get those tickets but you know we probably shouldn't."
"I MEAN FAKE ONES OBVIOUSLY WES" - A
"Oh right ang how could I forget your giving this basket to Tim." Weasley responds flashing a smirk and walking outside
"Now where are you going Mr?" - A
"To get the basket and blanket Mrs." - W
"Alright I love you." Angela quickly hops up and gives Weasley a peck on the lips.

ONE WEEK LATER...

It finally comes down to the day of basket giving, and if you want to make sure no one knows which basket is from you, you better come quick or else your gonna look a little foolish. "Hey Timothyyyyyy!" Angela expressed extending the "y" because she is very scared that the alarms will go off any moment now.

*Ring Ring Ring*
Angela points to her phone as she runs to the women's locker room.

"Hey babe, what's up?"
"I found this note on the fridge that your giving Lucy a gift so I'm gonna pop by and drop some chocolates off!"
"WHAT I TOTALLY FORGOT BECAUSE I WAS GETTING THOSE ALARMS for you know who, OMG TIM IS GONNA KILL ME!" - A
"Calm down I'm bringing the fancy chocolate so hold off from Lucy getting hers for a bit"
"Okay okay cya."
*Hangs Up*

"So I hear I'm gonna kill you..?" - T
"Uhh what no why would you hear that." - A
"Is this about Lucy?" - T
"NoOo, I mean a little bit!" - A
"You forgot to get her a gift didn't you 😡." - T
"I guess.." - A
"It's okay because I bough this necklace for her and I was wondering if u wanted to give it alongside those chocolates?" - T
"You would do that for me? Well I will add your name in the gif because that's too much." - A
"Okay well here's the necklace, I hope those chocolates make me love Lucy more 😉." - T
"GROSS TIM!!" - A

Tim walks away flashing a smirk back to Angela.
