I haven't been back to school since that whole thing with Nea. Its been a week since. And no i haven't talked to Mari i blocked her after she sent me 100 text that night.

Its wensday and i have to go back to school now. My moms not letting me stay home any longer.

"Ughh" i groaned getting out of bed.

 I don't wanna go.

7:30

i walked into first block and there they were Carla and Mari 

kissing.   

It confused me a little bit because i thought Carla was in-love with Nea. Who i haven't talked to in a minute. 

I walked over and sat down in my regular seat. 

"Hey" nea said

"Stop talking to me"

"Why you being like that"

"Why you lie"

"I didnt lie i just didnt tell you"

"Keeping secrets is the same thing as lying" 

"You sound slow"

"Bitch" i cut her a side eye

"Ok ok im sorry"

"We still not together asshole"

"Ok that coo. But friends?"

"Mhmm ill think about it"

She smiled and i gave her a 'yea don't do that look' and she looked away.

Mari hade left out the class now and i was kinda glad she didn't say anything to me. I don't wanna talk to her. 

We had a sub in class which i was thankful for.

When i finished the work my teacher had left for us i got on my phone. A text from an unsaved number popped up.

'Heyyyy fenti. 😛

'Who dis?

'So u anti got my number saved no-more wow... its niamey aka amey (um-me) your best friend!! 

'OMG GIRL WHERE ARE YOU

'At your house. Your mom let me in. 

'Why?

'Long story.. 

'Danm. 

'What time you get home?

'Around 3 or 4 

'We can talk then ill still be here 

'Bet 

'Bet.

I looked up from my phone to see nea starring at me 

I ignored her and started scrolling on ig.

I was so happy when that bell rung. I get to see my ex-best friend again. I missed amey so much the last time i saw her was 2 years ago. 

I walked in the house all smiles to see amey again. Her Carmel skin and long curly hair was the same.

"FENTIIIII" she yelled as soon as she saw me

"Thats my name" i said hugging her for the first time in what felt like forever.

"Oh my god im so excited to see you"

"Same, did your mom come with you"

"Yea she at the house unpacking, do you wanna come help?"

"Yea, sure i can"

"Ok lets go"

Amey's new house was about 2 blocks away and similar in size to mine. We got out he car and walked up to her mom who was painting something out side the house.

"Heyyy ms.lacross"

"Heyy fenti ! Girl i fell like i haven't seen you in forever"

"I know I know"

We catched up a little bit before me and amey went in the house to amey's room to unpack.

Her bed was already set up and most of her stuff was put away so there wasn't much to do.

"So what you been up to?" Amey asked as we started unpacking some of her boxes

"Ahh shit just chilling and what not"

"Mhm thats all huh?"

"Well.."

"See i knew you hade some going own on"

"Whats ha name?"

"Nia and befor you get excited we just broke up.. the whole thing was a fucking set up"

"Set up how."

"She didnt even really like me.. ill tell you more about it later i need a blunt right now"

"Same"

We went outside to the backyard to talk and smoke for about 30 min or so. (See this is why black folks cant get nun done🤦🏽‍♀️ always trynna smoke 😭)

Eventually i went home. I planed on picking amey up the next morning so we could ride to school together.
