Amanda was in the kitchen, making dinner for her family when she heard something fall. Concerned, she turned off the stove and ran outside where her husband was on a ladder, putting up the Christmas lights on the roof.

"You okay, baby?" She asks, coming to stand in front of him on the ground. Sonny looks down and smiles at his wife.

"Yeah, m' fine. Why?"

"I heard something fall."

Sony chuckled, "Oh, yeah. That was my hammer. Actually, can ya pass it ta me." He nodded over his shoulder and she noticed the wooden handle sticking out of the bush.

She raised an eyebrow. "How did it fall?"

"Uh-huh," Sonny replied, his focus back on the lights. Amanda sighs and grabs the hammer by the handle, pulling it out.

"Here, babe." She says looking up but pauses as she notices just how nice his butt looks from this angle. He had surprisingly finished work early and when he came home, he saw his wife putting out all the Christmas lights. Without even changing, he grabbed the ladder from the basement and started helping her put them up while the kids were with their Uncle Elliot and Aunt Olivia. Sonny had taken off his coat and was left in his dress pants and button-up shirt and the sleeves were now rolled up to his elbows, showing off his muscular arms and the veins on his hands.

"Manda? Hellooo." Sonny called out, breaking Amanda away from her thoughts. She looked up, noticing Sonny's hand was out trying to grab the hammer while she was just staring at him.

Amanda shook her head, "Sorry, what?"

Sonny laughed, "The hammer, my love." He replied, nodding his head to the hammer.

"Oh!" She exclaimed, handing the hammer to him as he chuckled and went back to hammering the nail in place to keep the light from falling. With the feeling of someone staring at him, Sonny glanced down and noticed his wife still standing in the same position she was in when he had looked away from her. Except, she wasn't staring at him, she was staring at his ass.

"Likin' the view?" Sonny teased with a smirk. Amanda looked up at him and started blushing. She giggled and walked away, "I'm in the kitchen. Let me know if you need anything else."

Chuckling to himself, Sonny went back to fixing up the Christmas lights before their daughters came back home.

Many broken items later requiring Sonny to get on a ladder and fix them while Amanda stood behind him, mostly admiring his good-looking butt as he was oblivious. Sonny came home after a long case to find broken glass on the kitchen table. Frightened, he ran to his and Amanda's room and burst in, startling the girls inside.

"Oh, honey, 'm sorry. I didn't mean ta scare ya girls." Sonny said, feeling bad as he dropped his suitcase onto the ground and walked over to the bed where Jesse and Billie had been watching TV. He grabbed the two crying girls and hugged them tightly, kissing their foreheads. "Where's mommy?"

Jesse sniffled and pointed to the bathroom. "She's taking a shower." Sonny nodded and kissed their heads one last time before heading to the bathroom. Poking his head in, he asked, "What's with the broken glass?"

Amanda jumped in the shower at the sound of Sonny's voice. "Oh, what the fuck, Dominick!"

He chuckled and closed the door behind him. He opened the shower curtain and grinned at her. Amanda rolled her eyes and kissed his lips before turning off the water. Sonny passed her the towel sitting on the counter as she got out.

"What'd you ask before you scared the shit out of me."

Sonny chuckled again before replying, "I was askin' what's with the broken glass on the table."

"Oh. I accidentally broke one of the lights."

Her husband's eyebrows raised to his hairline. "....How?"

Amanda shrugged as she dried off herself. "I dunno. It just...broke when I was playing with the girls. I think it was when we were throwing the ball around. Next thing I knew, I heard something shatter."

"Christ, Manda," Sonny replied, rubbing his face with his hands. "Be careful next time."

She smiled at him, wrapping the towel around her figure before wrapping her arms around his shoulders. "I'm sorry. I'll be careful next time. But...Can you fix it?"

"Of course, I can. Just...Let me get out of my work getup and I'll fix it."

Amanda kissed his lips and ran her fingers through his graying hair. "Thank you, baby."

"Mhm." He hummed, pecking her lips again before she walked out. Sonny didn't miss the chance of slapping her ass as she left making her gasp and turn around. He grinned at her before taking off his clothes and jumping into the shower.

About an hour later, the girls were eating fruits at the dinner table while watching their parents argue over the broken light.

"I'm tellin' ya! This is the correct bulb."

"Sonny. I saw the one that broke. It doesn't look like that!"

"You do know there are different versions of lights, right? It's the same bulb just, looks different."

Amanda huffed and rolled his eyes, "Alright, fine. Just...Get up the ladder and fix it."

Sonny's eye twitched as he watched her walk to the couch and flop onto it. He looked over at Jesse and Billie who giggled making him smile. He climbed up the ladder and focused on replacing the bulb while Amanda watched him. Well...More like watching how his ass looked very nice and sexy in the pants he was wearing.

"Mommy, why do you always stare at Daddy's butt when he's on the ladder?" Jesse asked innocently as she finished her strawberries. Sonny raised an eyebrow, hearing Jesse's words, and looked down at Amanda whose face started to turn red as she blushed.

"I do not!" She defended, turning to her eldest daughter who started giggling with her sister.

"Yes, you do! Every time Daddy has to fix something, you stare at his butt. Weirdo."

Amanda crossed her arms over her chest. "I am not weird. I-" She looked at Sonny who was trying not to laugh as he watched her. "I do not stare at your butt!"

"Is that why ya keep breakin' things? So, you can stare at my butt?"

"No! I- No." She said with a huff, looking away at him. Sonny turned the bulb one last time, the light finally shining in the dark room before he climbed down the ladder with a laugh.

"If you wanted ta stare, all you had to do was ask."

"I do not stare!" Amanda yelled, annoyed that her family kept accusing her even though they were 100% correct.

"Yeah, right." He replied, joining her on the couch and grinning. Amanda rolled her eyes and turned away from him. She glanced at him noticing the same shit-eating grin on his face making her let out a giggle.

"Alright! Fine. Yes. I just...Your butt looks nice."

Sonny burst out laughing making Amanda and the girls laugh. "Your butt looks better, my love."

Amanda rolled her eyes as a smile crept onto her face. Her husband wrapped his arm around her shoulder and brought her into his chest, kissing her head while the girls ran to them, jumping onto the couch and joining the hug.
